This review would not even be a one star if I had a choice!!!!! I scheduled a new patient exam to get established with Dr. Elizabeth Mikrut for my ill sister that just relocated to my home. Unfortunately I was not able to attend the appointment with her. This doctor informed her the medication she was prescribed could not be called in, that she had to hand deliver the rx to the pharmacy. When my sister expressed concern that she did not drive due to her health and was new to the area that she preferred to have it delivered by cvs, Dr. Mikrut proceeded to tell her “someone will take you”. So when I was told this I automatically assumed it was a narcotic. WRONG….THE RX WAS MACROBID!! An antibiotic that absolutely can be sent electronically and she could have had it delivered and started it the same day. Instead it was 24 hrs before I could get the medication for her and her symptoms have escalated. We will NOT be back to this so-called Doctor as she obviously doesn’t care about anyone but herself! How cruel can someone be that has taken oath to help people. I will be pursuing this situation further!

We've been coming here for years- when I say years- over 13 years committed. The new male doctor and the male associate at the front desk are both unprofessional. Never had issues before having the past few appointments with them this year. Had to get a second opinion from a different doctor and prescriptions from them. Now- also being charged for an unsuccessful visit.. Core values need to be re-evaluated by the staff.

This woman should not be near patients. She rude, unprofessional and not sure when was the last time she went on any medical training. And boy, can they lie! The fax is there saying one thing and they are telling another story. She does care about patients, she just wants to get the insurance money and be done. Stay away from this place. horrible doctor, horrible staff and horrible service

I used to go here frequently with my family when we were younger but thankfully I don't get sick too often since with my high insurance deductible it is just not at all practical for me to pay $85 to see a doctor, even Mikrut since none of the visit is covered by my insurance. I have been sick on and off for nearly a month, though, so I needed a doctor and knew that my sickness would be diagnosed and treated properly here and thought that I would receive a bit of personal attention and care from my now estranged doctor.

There were not many people in the waiting room around 9:30 on a Monday morning which was a good time to arrive before many people had a chance to come after opening. I was called back to a room in a reasonable amount of time and the nurse checked me out a bit and did a strep test on me, another $25 fee. It took Mikrut around 20 minutes to finally enter the room, however, and she was only in there for around five minutes which was definitely the most disappointing aspect about my visit.

I described my symptoms, she looked in my ears and throat and listened to my breathing and told me I had a bad infection and that they were going to rerun the strep test and to lay down for a bit since I was sweating. After about 20 more minutes the nurse walked in with a shot which I declined but Mikrut never returned to the room to tell me what was wrong with me or what my prescription was. I managed to get a bit of an answer as to what was ailing me from the nurse but when you end up paying $25 a minute to be quickly diagnosed by the doctor then I also expect for that to include at the very least a quick but concise talk with the doctor explaining what it is that is wrong with my body.

On my way out I saw Mikrut and asked her a couple questions in front of the nurses that I would not have been able to otherwise bring forward, mainly about a prescription for a skin condition but she said I would have to come back for that. I guess $85 is only good for one health problem, and even then do not expect Mikrut to come back in after her initial diagnosis to tell you what is wrong; it will more than likely just come from a nurse. The standard of care and compassion here seems to have fallen and I was not treated like anything more than another profitable sick person to bring in and, at their earliest convenience, be let out. I told Mikrut it was nice seeing her as I was leaving but she did not recognize me, nor did I recognize her rather cold and aloof way of dealing with patients as little as humanly and medically possible.

The front office staff here is ridiculously rude and unprofessional. They are short with the patients. They have no respect for their elders, or the disabled. They do absolutely nothing but sit around and talk about their personal lives. And when I asked if I was next in line, the only response I got was a dirty look, some rolled eyes, and a “yeah.” I didn’t even keep my appointment because the staff was so horrible. One of the nurses took his sweet time between patients, making sure to talk to the front office staff about his tag renewal costs, etc. I don’t know if the doctor knows what’s going on here, but if she doesn’t, she shouldn’t be here either. Horrible experience, and I never got past the front office. Don’t waste your time.

I saw Dr. Mikrut today after being referred to her by my new insurance. My old PCP is no longer covered by my insurance so I had to switch. I take Lisinaphril and ambien which I have been taking both now for a couple of years. My previous primary care doctor treated my blood pressure and insomnia for years with no problem. I waited an hour and a half to see this doctor and she walked in and said what was I doing there. Not how was I doing, or how could she be of service. I let her know I needed a new doctor and I was there to get my six month blood pressure check up and renew prescriptions that were running out which include my Ambien. She immediately went on a tirade of lecturing me and saying I should have checked up at the front desk to see if she prescribed controlled substances. She asked me did I know that ambien was a controlled substance and that is was bad and no doctor other than a neurologist should prescribe that. I have a psychology degree and know for a fact at least a psychiatrist should be able to prescribe that along with other types of doctors. My PCP has had no issue with ambien other than she monitors how I am doing. This lady was yelling, and called me an addict. She suggested I get off Ambien and that she would not be able to see me as a patient in reference to my sleep issues. She never bothered to ask me much else and never asked me my name or introduced herself. She made me feel like a druggie and very uncomfortable. I can understand her point of view if she talked to me like a human, but she did not. Also, I waited for a long time to see her with only a few people in her waiting room. She never asked if I would like to proceed with my appointment to check my blood pressure and she never asked any questions. She said that she could be my doctor but not for sleep issues and she would not prescribe me that bad drug. Then no care was offered after that statement. I went to her by my insurance companies referral and she acted like I was coming off the street to score drugs. I am going back to my PCP for now and paying out of pocket and I can't recommend this woman as a doctor. She was yelling, and rude and very judgemental. She asked why in the world was I on Ambien and since she does not know me or my history I would have thought a more calm and non-judgemental conversation would have occurred about my trauma in life that has led to my sleep issues.

This place is nasty, has a horrible smell, and should be closed down. No one does anything in the office. They don't help or tell you anything about your health. This is the worse place I could have taken my very sick sister to. Please don't waste your time on this place!
