There are pros and cons. The service staff are friendly and the wait times are not too bad. The xray techs and phlemotomists are great. The hospital is clean and in a great location. Unfortunately, the administration side can be very frustrating to deal with. Aside from Chris who is so helpful and empathetic, it's impossible to get a call back, they don't answer the phone, and it takes weeks to get records transferred.

I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the care and compassion I experienced yesterday during my ER visit. Dr. Roya Mahana and my nurse Breanna gave me excellent care. I live in NM and I will ALWAYS go to Mt. San Rafael for care.

Very bottom of the barrel doctors. Don’t go here unless you truly don’t care about your health. I took my husband in the emergency room this morning for chest pains and they just said “stop smoking weed” when he hasn’t smoked for a week. We signed forms to release his records to his mom, and the front desk lady said “oh no we don’t do that here.” She didn’t even look. These are WISH’s version of doctors. Incompetent and lazy and uncaring.

The quality of care by the doctors and staff here is exceptional. Thank you Dr. McClintock, Dr. Carter, Nurse Diana, Nurse Brandon, Justin, and the entire staff at this hospital for taking care of my mother and saving her life many times as she has severe diabetes. You all have a heart of gold and I cannot thank you enough for being such compassionate and supportive medical staff. Your expertise does not go unnoticed - thank you

This is the worst hospital I've ever had the displeasure of being treated at. A year ago, I went in for crippling back pain and they did the bare minimum with imaging. Had they used contrast they would have found two fractured vertebrae before I ended up in the ER with 4 fractured bones. When I went to the ER on the 5th, the ER staff completely disregarded all the information they were given by the ambulance EMTs, treated me as if I was faking it (one of the orderlies even went as far as to "bad mouth" me, loudly, where everyone in the ER could hear it, he also didn't help me when I slid into a painful position and couldn't shift on my own but was condescending and patronizing, and if that wasn't enough, he man handled me by my fractured arms/shoulders and insisted there was nothing wrong with me until they finally took x-rays). There's no compassionate care here at all. I hope I never have anything life-threatening because I'm convinced that I won't get any care from Mt San Rafael and will likely die from the overall negligence of the staff (which seems to be standard policy here). If you need real care and to get actual help, drive the 1.5hrs and go to Parkview in Pueblo. Mt San Rafael will either make your problem worse or just let you die. They operate from a code of "Harm as much as possible" instead of "Do no harm"

My heart rate dropped to 35 but in the ER they treated me like trash. I’m suffering from Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome and nearly lost my life but they really didn’t seem to care at all. Today I had another episode but I just don’t trust they will even care to help me anymore. If I pass away my family will sue this hospital to the ground at my request. It’s been 3 days since I was told a cardiovascular doctor would call me to set up an appointment. What a shameful way to treat patience in desperate need for an answer. I have a 1 year old son I wanna be here for. I have no reason to just make this up.

This is the worse hospital and clinic in Colorado. Most of the employees sicken me to even call them selves doctors nurses and just as human beings. The CEO is a piece too won’t even contact you back. I’ve lived here my whole life and have chronic illnesses. Hard to travel so I have to put my life in their hands and they don’t give a care in the world. And their so called walk in clinic is a joke. If it’s a walk in why the heck is it full before it’s even open. The short white hair lady is very rude/racist. If doctors can’t handle a couple patients in the first place for them to stop working as one. Don’t they take an oath or is that a joke to them as well? If you need real help drive to Pueblo co or even raton you will get better cared for.
