I wish I could give them 0 stars. Literally just got off the phone with them to schedule an appointment I had to cancel due to an emergency back in Louisiana with my family. Told me they wouldn't schedule another appointment because I canceled my new patient appointment. Also told me that I'm not allowed back here because of canceling the appointment! I would understand if I just didn't show up but I actually canceled it. I guess they don't understand that life happens and emergencies come up. It took me over three months to even get the appointment so maybe it's for the best.

I don't understand so many negative comments. I've been to this facility a number of times to see a specialty surgeon and it's been a great experience. Sometimes the wait was long but not far out. Today I spoke by phone to the receptionist Donna and she was very knowledgeable and professional. My PCP has left his practice because Medicare doesn't pay well and he won't get rich. This facility takes Medicare and United Health Care. I am looking forward to this facility. Also, if you're a walk in.. there is a graph on this site that lets you know what the busy hours are.

I don't normally write reviews on anything because I understand that things happen and people have bad experiences, but I came to L&M Medical Group when I was in the process of moving from another state and found out I was pregnant. They are AWFUL.
My doctor's told me I had borderline high blood pressure, but no one seemed to have any suggestions on ways I could help it. The nurse shrugged and told me "keep an eye on it" which basically meant they would check it again next time I was in for a regular visit. No one communicated what my next visit would be like, and when I did come in for another visit, the doctor I saw that day never seemed to be able to find any information on my previous visit. One doctor asked me a bunch of routine health questions and then told me, "I don't normally get to see healthy people." Because of this I had a lot of bloodwork done for things I was already unlikely to have as an issue, with suggestions like "it can't hurt right?" and I never saw any results for the testing etc, in the following visits.
I was sent to the actual hospital for one of my more in depth ultrasounds, but they never sent over my paperwork to the hospital so it took many calls on my part to remind them that it needed to be sent, DAYS later just so I could schedule the appointment with the hospital.
When I was finally able to switch to another practice, L&M group lost my paperwork requesting that I have my medical records transferred and I had to refill it out, fax it to their locked records facility personally, and call back MULTIPLE times a day to get the paperwork over to the new doctor. With a couple of weeks worth of time to do this and way too many calls on my part, they finally sent my records over to my new doctor the MORNING OF my first appointment.
After seeing my new doctor, they still can't find some of the results for bloodwork I had done so I have yet to get those questions answered. When it comes to the health of an unborn child, I feel people should be a lot more attentive than this. Some of their other groups may not be so terrible as I have no experience with them, but the OBGYN group has been horrible in my opinion.
I still have not seen a bill from them and now have started receiving calls about my payments. DON'T USE THEM IF YOU HAVE THE CHOICE.

I love having all of my doctors in one location! It certainly makes it easier for me. Additionally, if one sends me to have lab work, blood drawn, ect.. that's there too. I have my primary care, neurologist, cardiac care, and pain management conveniently under the one roof. And there is a "walk-in" clinic too. If you have more than one doctor, you would definitely find this the place for your medical needs. I have visited 6 offices there and found them all extremely professional and caring.

The people working with this office are abysmal. Literally they have no concern whatso ever except to 'do' a job.

Things begin to be noticed when upon registering for this provider the very first person you encounter is telling you won't get seen for months even after having been seen by the ER because your turning blue at night. I even was told that I should not speak to provide information and was asked if 'I was a health care tech elsewhere' all because I pointed out my insurance card numbers on a form. Extremely rude!

Even when finally getting seen the lady providers are hostile to the point they will treat you like an animal grabbing your arms and turning them in lol sorts of positions cause they can't get a blood pressure reading (incompetent).

When I finally had the chance to speak with doctor Amit Khanna I was rushed through a couple questions and even pleaded to have treatment immediately. Despite seeing the ER he mentioned someone from his office would contact me.

2 weeks go by and they haven't even addressed insurance paperwork so I can pick up any medical equipment.

Upon calling I was referred to a lady who NEVER picks up her phone or bothers to respond at all - this is the person who is supposed to process your stuff and get you moving. FYI this same person takes days off and NO ONE covers her role during absence - neglectful services!!

As mentioned THEY DO NOT CARE! The Doctors live in a bubble with zero interaction or concern for how their carnival is going.

Even when you ask to speak with a manager or director they will put you on hold/hang up and Never pick up the phone. Also you will never hear back from the doctor cause they will never pass the message or respond EVER!

These statements may seem strong but they are the truth. I am convinced this entire sub hospital is a beyond ridiculous - GO ELSEWHERE!

This is my first review. Of anything. Ever. Point being, I felt extremely compelled to write something about this 'place'. (I am not even able to allow myself to call it a medical office).

After waiting 6 months for my first appointment as a new patient, I was seen by the physician, Dr. Calderon. I told him I had felt very sick with a cough lasting nearly 8 months (since it took me 6 to even get the appointment) congestion, I do have seasonal allergies.. He diagnosed me with asthma and prescribed me an inhaler with no tests other than his stethoscope... Ok... I use the inhaler for 2 months and nothing has changed. I see him again after waiting another month for an appointment. I tell him I continue to have symptoms I don't think it's ashtma, but he insists it's that. Finally, I go to the walk in 3 weeks later... I have a twice misdiagnosed sinus infection that is so bad the blood vessels in my eyes are popping. Thank you Doctor!!! No asthma is the plus side I guess?

I tell him that I'm having serious symptoms of anxiety as I have my whole life, shaky hands, sleepless nights, always on edge, and also I've lost 30 pounds in a year and a half without trying, so the doctor responds by calculating my BMI and telling me it's normal...... What the actual f***?!!

One time while waiting in line the receptionist said "next number please" next number? We didn't even have number cards... Don't you mean humans!!!! This place is sick and in it for the financial gain only.

I could go on and on and on and on honestly, but I have to get to work. Where l competently handle all situations with my clients, fully listen to and understand their needs, complaints, wants. I respond to them in a timely fashion. I actually care about their wellbeing. I never scoff or giggle at them. And I don't rush through my appointment with them just to get to the next so I can make a quick buck. And I suggest this office attempts to hire some new employees who will do the same.

Was told I had a stomach flu and things would pass... 6 months later I find out that I had a non-functioning gallbladder and needed surgery. Testing accomplished in my first visit showed abnormalities that should have been researched further.

I put in a BBB complaint and the reply was completely bogus. This business should have been more professional and accept responsibility for their staff and doctors of "Yale New Haven". All of it was a terrible nightmare. Just because the word "Yale" is associated with the practice, doesn't mean it's going to be any better or helpful
