Patty always listens to what I have to say very well. She is actually the first person that would actually listen to symptoms I was experiencing and talked it through with me and explained things and answered my questions very well. She is friendly and respectful and I always feel safe in her room

If a patient lives over an hour away and is 10 minutes late to there appointment and is told, not asked, to return the next day is acceptable? The patient isn’t even given an option to stay and wait in case there is a cancellation? This after calling and informing them they are running late. Regardless if the patient has missed a prior appointment and called ahead to reschedule an appointment is that a good policy? Considering this facility is dealing with people in need of mental health treatment how can this be anything but detrimental?
With the state of Iowa all but defunding mental health to begin with leaving people at the mercy of finding any treatment facilities that have openings a shot in the dark how can this office show so little empathy or concern for the welfare of there patients?
I appreciate the workload of this profession has to be overwhelming at times due to the downsizing of the system in the state but this is the type of action that can take a mentally ill person and create more than problems but life and death situations.

Your policy is unacceptable and you should be ashamed of this policy! Heaven forbid this kind of policy triggers a patient to drastic measures that affect themselves or others in a life altering event.

Your lack of empathy is unbelievably inappropriate and it reflects on the patient care overall.

I went there for therapy and my therapist wasn't even interested in what I had to say. I thought I was going to go in there and feel seen and heard. Not feel like I'm wasting her time and her giving me a bunch of attitude when I brought things up that was bothering me. In addition, she made me watch Ted talks to figure out my issues. She wasn't helpful at all.

I know someone that's been going there for 2 years hasn't helped them one bit all they care about is all that money. This person said they were talking to them about a problem they had and all the psychiatrists would do is ignore her wouldn't address the problem at all. I told the patient to quit going there all they are is money hungry.

Amazing place with genuine staff working. These people provide every aspect of assistance in everyway that they can, they go above and beyond to take care of their clients. I won't go anywhere else. Happy to be able to come here.
