I do not recommend this medical group at all!! They NEVER answer the phone. They like to play phone tag and leave voicemails. It took me 7 months just to get an appointment for a physical. Better off going to urgent care or minute clinic at CVS. Then they can call the Dr.’s office and get “permission” to prescribe something for you. I refuse to go back there and I’ve been going here for 30 years! Nobody that works there really cares about your health. IMO. (Except the nursing assistants and lab workers) I’ve only seen a real Dr. once! All the other visits are PA. what happened to the good old days; when you had a “one on one” relationship with your primary care Doctor and actually saw the Dr instead of a PA? This is not a professional place anymore. I’ve been trying to make an appointment for 6 weeks now. No human interaction by phone. Hence no compassion from the PA’s. The nursing assistants are great though! Very thorough , caring and kind. And the two women at the check out desks are the best. Check in person is a little cold (again my own opinion) do yourself a favor and got to cvs or urgent care.

I have never had a problem getting an appointment. I leave a message and someone always calls me back. When I need a refill for meds I leave a message and they call in the refill quickly. Everyone is very friendly in the office.

Although I love my physician you can never schedule with them They never have appointments and they ate suppose to be a patient centered home office It is difficult to even schedule with a PA. They need to stop accepting new patients as they can handle the patient load now. They are quick to send you to the emergency room which being a patient centered home office they are suppose to avoid. Reception should not be advising and clinical care advice

The billing department screamed at me for asking questions that they should be able to answer and then hung up on me. That women’s only job is to know what’s going on in someone’s forms and she couldn’t even do that. Is that what how you want people to be treated? Screamed at for just asking questions and wanting answers. Left me shaking and feeling like I was worthless and should never come back.

I would not recommend this office to anyone. It takes forever to get a hold of someone to make an appointment and they’re usually always booked out, even the PA’s.
Any time I have called to ask a medical question for the nurse they have never picked up. You sit on the phone for exactly 6 minutes before it sends you to voicemail.
Some of the staff is friendly, others are not so much.
There was an occasion I had to call the on call doctor, Dr. Leonardi picked up and he was very rude. I know someone else who has had a similar situation with him. Because of this, even though he is my primary care Dr I don’t book appointments with him.
There are better places out there.

Don't bother calling. They won't answer the phone. I had to go for bloodwork and the bloodwork place didn't have an order so they tried calling NMMG on Saturday and couldn't get through. So I had to wait until Monday and called. I couldn't get a human. Was on hold for 20 minutes. I called back later in the day and was on hold again for around 15 minutes before someone finally picked up. But they didn't say anything and just put me back on hold. I went for my physical a few days later, without bloodwork being done, and noticed while sitting in the waiting room, that I never heard a phone ringing. The staff was making calls but not taking them. TURN ON THE PHONE RINGER! My Podiatrist's office called me because they needed info from my PCP, but couldn't get through because nobody answers the phones over at NMMG.

If I didn't like Dr. Albin so much, I would be out of this place in a second. The scheduling system is frustrating and embarrassing for being 2023 -- there is technology to allow people to schedule their own appointments online that doesn't require a team of people manning the phones. That nobody ever picks up the phone is ridiculous, so you have to leave a voicemail, then hope and wonder if and when anyone will ever call back. I've gone to an urgent care a few times now because I couldn't get through, only to find out they had appointments available that day when they called back hours later. But you can never count on a return call if it's pressing.

You can use the online system to request prescription refills. It specifically asks what pharmacy you want, but they ignored it and sent it to a different pharmacy. When I went to the one I requested, even the pharmacy couldn't get someone on the phone, so I was lost until I left a new message, then got a call back the next day.

Once in the office, the people are all great, it's just terrible management that allows this ludicrous scheduling system to continue.
