I had breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Jones a year ago, after seeing his impressive work on his Instagram page. I consulted with him about my goals, especially since I had undergone a mommy makeover 12 years prior. I specifically requested a smaller size, aiming for a full C cup, with a focus on achieving a natural look—perky but not overly high on my chest.

Unfortunately, my experience post-surgery has been very disappointing. Just three days after my procedure on November 30, 2022, I noticed a significant asymmetry: one breast appeared larger than the other. I returned to the office to discuss my concerns, and Dr. Jones suggested a revision might be necessary, but he advised waiting a week to assess the situation. That was the last meaningful communication I had with him.

After that initial visit, I only saw a nurse, and despite expressing my dissatisfaction—particularly about the noticeable size difference and the varying shapes of my nipples—there was no follow-up from Dr. Jones. I was devastated, especially since my birthday was in December, and I felt my self-esteem had taken a huge hit. I had invested $15,000, hoping for a smaller, more balanced look, but instead, I felt worse about my appearance than ever.

The results are not at all what I expected. I went from a double D to a look that feels even larger and less perky than before. It’s disheartening to think that a doctor would rush into a procedure without properly considering my wishes or providing adequate post-operative care.

As this month marks a year since my surgery, I received a follow-up message from the office, which triggered me. Throughout this past year, I struggled with my feelings about the outcome, and it felt like Dr. Jones didn’t care enough to check in more frequently. I tried to make appointments after my surgery, but he seemed too busy with other patients.

I cannot recommend Dr. Jones based on my experience. Just because a doctor has a large social media following or celebrity endorsements does not guarantee quality care. I had hoped for a physician who understood the specific needs of African-American patients, but I was left disappointed. Please do your research and consider your options carefully before choosing a plastic surgeon.

I had a great experience at Nip and Tuck Plastic Surgery. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at ease right away. Dr. Jones took the time to answer all of my questions, and what really stood out to me was how much he genuinely cared. Doctor Jones performed my Tummy Tuck around 2018-2019. I expressed issues at the checkup and was disappointed not only in the procedure because I had did ears which he did not fix but he did not complete the procedure in totality. My abs were not put together I forget the term. There were a few other things but his bedside manner was lacking in professionalism and he never address my concerns. I would hope that he’s better at his craft today however not being accountable even to this day is a red flag in my opinion.

I finally decided to get a tummy tuck and lipo 360. I did my homework and did 5 different consultations. I met with Dr.Jones and immediately knew he would be my surgeon. I am amazed by my results. I get so many compliments. I consider myself a walking billboard for Dr.Jones. He’s an artist, my belly button is perfect and my scar is minimal. This is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I am about 7 months post op from BBL and renuvion (skin tightening) procedure. Dr. Jones is cool but I am not wowed by my results. My skin didn’t tighten the way I desired and I was not that big before surgery and I have great skin. My BBL is ok but I wish I had more projection. Although I will say it looks very natural but just wish I had more volume. I developed fat necrosis in one cheek which I understand is a common side effect. At my follow up Dr. Jones didn’t seem to really care or explain it to me. A little empathy would have been nice but I already did my research so I didn’t have many questions about it. Instead he asked me if I wanted to do social media post.

Overall, I think I will need skin tightening again and maybe some additional volume to my backside but I’m less than a year post op so I will give the healing process more time.

Office staff changed at least 3-4 times since I had surgery which is a bit frustrating.

So I went here for my breast augmentation, and overall the whole experience was underwhelming. Dr. Jones is a totally different person than his social media, personality, contentment and shy, but knowledgeable. I do like the fact that he prayed with me prior to my surgery, but that’s about it. When it came to my follow-ups, I only met with him once and that was it then the admin person didn’t let my payment while I was in office (multiple times) and literally was blowing up my phone at the end of the month to collect the payment because it was time for them to close out their books. The assistants were unprofessional and made me overall uncomfortable. I would have went elsewhere, but everything is not refundable so that wasn’t an option. As far as my breast augmentation, I have the worst scars, but luckily I chose to get the incisions under my breast so it’s not noticeable. And for all the money I paid I didn’t receive any type of post-op garments. I’m definitely looking into other plastic surgeons to get my breast done again. I don’t recommend.

In short, I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. Dr. Jones and the entire team have far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Nip & Tuck Plastic Surgery!
