I had a wonderful experience with this hospital. I felt that everyone from the ER Dr to the food service was kind to me. I could not have had a more caring and kind team of Er doctors to nurses and techs. They all treated me with kindness and compassion. I can tell they are all highly intelligent and trained well. They have a high stress job and they all handle it well. I never felt I was ignored or not listened to. The rooms are all single rooms which was an answered prayer as I felt I could get rest better that way. The rooms are nice and also clean. I can not thank this hospital team enough for caring for me the way they did. Please keep these folks as they are Drs and nurses and techs doing a more than wonderful job.The food department does a wonderful job as well . I thought the food was very good. I hope if I ever need this hospital again I get the same Drs and nurses and techs I had. I did not have the experience of the people with the negative reviews.Quite the opposite. Thanks again to all who cared for me so well. Many blessings to you

I went into surgery today and I had an amazing experience. I want to shout out Crystal cause she made sure that I understood every thing before I went home. Also she made sure that I had all my belongings before I left. I also wanted to shout out Debbie because she was able to get IV when the first nurse had some trouble. All my questions were answered and made sure that my partner understood my home instructions. 10/10 would recommend.

I was their a couple weeks ago with 10 broken ribs and a concussion and I have to say the ER nurses and the ER doctor Katie was absolutely the best! They were extremely kind and caring and tended to my every need! It’s truly takes a special person to work with patients under this kind of urgency and to be kind and keep a smile and help whenever they could really meant a lot to me! From there I was transferred to the Gainesville location where I stayed 5 days in the trauma response unit and I have to say the nurses and techs were absolutely amazing and so catering and kind also! I truly appreciate everything you guys do for your patients!

I went to ER the next day after a high speed head on collision. I did not realize I was badly injured immediately after the accident. I decided to go to this facility since it was closer to my home than Northside Hospital. I was given very minimal care and imaging. I explained that I was dizzy and had head and neck trauma, pelvic and shoulder pain. They were not rude at all like some of the other reviews suggested, they just didn't do their due diligence in taking care of me. I am the sole income for my family and have a very demanding job as a mortgage loan originator. I went to my primary care doctor today and was sent to imaging center for full body CT scan. Just be careful with this facility. I would not recommend.

12/22/2024. After a few days trying to rough it out, I decided to go to the newly built Hospital ER near my residence, for a persistente cough and flu related synthoms.5.15 pm the place was crowded, busy and noisy, expecting totally the opposite, but I just approached the front counter. The 2 ladies were busy and my presence did not alleviate their tasks. Signed in and sit down. Unfortunately when parents have kids and don't teach them to behave or at least realize that their screams do bother other people, it makes the waiting unpleasant, I saw Dr Mahendra patiently talking to them. 30 min later I get some action and I'm called in to get my vitals. The lady was extremely patient and she had a soft and sweet voice. Next, more wait and shortly after I get called in. 3 or 4 nurses talked to me patiently and professionally even under the pressure of high amounts of patients. Everyone was very professional, polite and expedite . My thanks to Dr. Yogy Mahendra .I get e few tests and then, the results. Fortunately all was good except for a viral upper respiratory infection that had been making my life miserable. Again, my congratulations to all and everyone who had to handle my case.

If you have an emergency and there's anyway possible, you need to try the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Emergency Room in Lumpkin . I have been taking my elderly mother to the old place for years now. Had the misfortune of having to go today, 1/4/2025, and the new place is fantastic. We've been having problems with her feeding tube but the last couple of days things got worse. They were able to change it out im in the Emergency room. YAAAAY!!! Thank You Jesus....We were in and out in less than 2 hours. Yes, you read that right. Less than two hours. A special shootout to Dr. Jerrid Pippin, Nurse Sola () and the rest of the wonderful staff.

Head Nurse Debbie, was very rude and very quick. Definitely needs to work on her people skill. I did not feel welcomed and felt intimidated to even ask simple questions. Also she stabbed me a few times with the needle before she was even able to draw blood for testing. She actually wanted to draw blood from the back of my hand. If the review was just the nursing staff, it wouldve been a 1 star. The front desk lady was very nice and to my knowledge my surgery went well and smoothly.

Had a very disappointing experience with the receptionist during my recent visit on August 21st 2024, I wish I had gotten her name because I would've written a letter to the hospital instead of just reviewing, because any other time I've had to visit that ER, the nurses and doctors were amazing. The lady, after I attempted to give her my back story of what was going on, she told me, and I'm very MUCH aware there are no urologist there because I've been there enough to experience that there wasn't any urologist at that location, she proceeded to tell me that I was in the wrong place, YET, while I suffer from kidney stones and was specifically told I had severe hydronephrosis ( keeps the urine from flowing normally, the back up of urine in the kidney was scary enough for me especially knowing what that COULD lead to and you're not passing urine like you should normally, so yeah I know what it is, but it doesn't mean that I wasnt genuinely scared and still am a little) oh and stenosis. I had a UTI that I had recently taken antibiotics for yet was still feeling the same symptoms when I urinate and having pain yet again in my right hip after had finishing my antibiotics correctly, it was a mild UTI as I was told, but yet a UTI none the less which is can be a side effect from having had a stent. But anyways, she was extremely rude and unprofessional, curt responses and dismissive attitude. Her lack of basic courtesy and respect was shocking, especially for someone in a front-facing role. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure better customer service in the future. And just a side note, I am very aware I may have been there several times for pain issues because I have a very LOW tolerance for pain and I'm sure anyone else would too after had been beaten constantly as a child, but what do I know right? I have stated I DIDN'T want pain medication during some of my visits and I meant it because I was genuinely concerned for my kidney: 1) because it's actually affecting my sleep and 2) because I'm a single mother with no family and raising 3 boys whose father committed suicide in 2014 that served this so called country for 12 years. I was going somewhere with all this but my brain is overloaded at the moment with what all I want to say.
Anyways, I understand protocol, if someone visits the ER repeatedly, I'd probably question it too, but I was never once visited this hospital or ANY hospital for that fact, to come in and say "omg I need pain medication", so let me get that out of the way, but I hope the drug screening made others feel better. I'm not perfect by no means, but neither is anyone that works at that hospital. How's it feel that I passed? Anyways, there was one specific person there that really stood out, Gregory P. Denly and another person that I had been seen by prior, but I cant remember his name, but Gregory had always seemed to be very genuine and always showed concern and I could definitely tell on the 21st when he got the results back from an ultrasound showing mild progress in healing. I was happy as well. He was always kind. You want to know a fun fact? Did you know narcissistic abuse causes brain damage? So yeah I'm not always the best trying to use my words, saying the wrong things when I actually mean something else, especially forgetful because of the constant brain fog. I apologize I'm rambling. Will I ever go back there, meh. I have my good days and bad days and I'm smart enough to know I'm still in pain and my right hip and kidney really does hurt and I hope this second stent surgery helps so I don't have to continue visiting the ER, didn't work the first time, but hey I'm no doctor. But one thing is, I know my body better than anyone and I listen to it, so I do so much apologize for being such a "burden" to ms.rude lady. Have the days you deserve.
