I have seen my fair share of psychiatrists in my lifetime, and I have never had a better experience than I have had with Dr. Hammett. Not only does he listen to the common stresses but also gives great advice along with working with medications for my pre existing health issues. We have worked many months to find the right medication to help ease these mental issues. I would highly recommend him as a Psychiatrist. He is great with communication and recommendations to seek outward help. Dr. Hammett's MA, Abel, is amazing too.

I’d like to preface this review with stating I’ve never felt compelled before now to leave a review for any product/physician, etc.
Appointment was made 4-6 weeks ago for this morning. I was told to arrive at 830AM to complete paperwork with a 915AM appointment time.
Paperwork was completed electronically (in full) yesterday. I arrived for appointment at 9:05AM (10 min early) and was turned away as I was 35 min late according to physician. Nurse/receptionist confirmed all paperwork was received yesterday but physician would not consider seeing me this morning regardless because I wasn’t there at 830 to complete paperwork that I’d already done electronically?!?!
The entire experience was really weird as I was sitting outside his office having this conversation with his nurse/receptionist while his door was partially open. There wasn’t a patient in his office so I’m not sure why he couldn’t honor my scheduled 915 appointment.
All forms were filled out ahead of time (yesterday) in order to make this morning’s appointment as fruitful and efficient as possible for both parties Appointment time of 915 was honored by patient (myself) but not physician.
Physician was Dr. Stephen Hammett, MD.
