I’ve been satisfied with the healthcare services that I received at NEG Toccoa Family Clinic, but I can’t say the same for the front desk staff. More than one person has been rude, or dismissive and disrespectful. The last time I was there, I came up from my labs at 7:45a and Was told my doctor wouldn’t be here for an hour even though my appointment was at 8:30 a thought I was checked in. I completed my electronic check in while I was waiting. I proceeded to wait for over an hour And 15 min in the waiting room, eventhough two medical staff walked by me without a word. Patients or customers, And healthcare workers are service providers. Just because there’s a lack of options in a small town, doesn’t mean courtesy And respect for patient rights should be disregarded.

It's fine if you can see your Doctors so I'm sick call for appointment 3 days or a week REALLY ?

I am leaving 2 stars because I am not so happy with Carolina. I saw her a few times as my pcp starting in 2020. She was nice at first, but after a while she felt a little condescending.
In 2021 I had a miscarriage and eventually went to see her for something to help with my mood, she told me that my iron was so low that that’s why I had a miscarriage. When I got pregnant after this and mentioned this to my OB/GYN she disagreed completely and said she could not believe anybody would ever tell me that.

I felt very invalidated by her when reaching out the last few times so I switched to a different pcp who was willing to hear me out.

I reached out one more time because my new pcp was out of the office for a few days and she told me that I would have to take it up with my new doctor who prescribed something that she would not.

Dr. Kiker is great! I highly recommend him. He is willing to listen and I felt very supported by him! I give him 5/5 stars for sure!

So far I’m pretty disappointed with this place. My wife has called to make an appointment for our sick children and she is told that they were booked up and that they only do same day appointments and to call at 8:00 am in the morning to make one for the day. So today she calls at 8:00 am and she is told they are already book up for the day. So does that mean we will never be able to get our kids in? They’re telling me same day appointments and every time we call they are booked.

Office personal kept me from seeing my dr....because of unpaid bill ...even though I have contested heart failure and on low income...I hope thier family never gets treated so horrible and with no compassion ? I'd rather die then be treated like this.... and I've been very ill.... so keep denying medical treatment

Had a bad experience with my muse and doctor I seen today. Also was supposed to have medication called in and never did till I asked them about it

Would not recommend going here. They dismissed me twice and said I had a sinus infection when it was really the flu. They don't spend enough time on their patients and are constantly miss diagnosing people

Everyone I came in contact with was nice and professional, except for the woman at the front desk. She was awful, really set the mood for the whole visit.
