I highly recommend Lanie Croke. Her ability to listen and understand my challenges has been invaluable. Through our sessions, I've gained clarity that has significantly impacted my overall well-being. Lanie is understanding and supportive, and generates a safe space for me to explore my thoughts and feelings. I am incredibly thankful for Northeast Health Services!

If I could give no stars I would. The lack of communication is insane! My daughter is 15 and has been going to northeast for at least 2 years… and in this 2 years she’s been bounced from therapist to therapist. The first therapist was a crock, then left, the second one was awesome but left for a better opportunity, we couldn’t follow because they didn’t accept our insurance. The next one never disclosed that she would be leaving, I didn’t get a call, and email or even a letter. And same thing with this last one.this last therapist was supposed to be weekly per her pcp, they switched her to weekly for a month, then she too fell off the face of the earth. I wasn’t aware that this therapist left until my 15 year old daughter told me she needed a new one! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I’m so happy to have found this place for care. People forget that mental health is just as important as physical health. I love my medication management doctor, Gianna, as well as my therapist, Margaret. I would recommend either of them to anyone looking to better their lives.

My therapist is amazing. Hes genuine, caring, insightful, intelligent. Never give up. If a therapist doesnt feel right for you, ask to switch to another. Then give the new one a few weeks to see if it’s a fit, if not ask for another switch, repeat until you find one you can truly open up to. There are different styles of therapists out there and everyone deserves to have someone to talk to that they connect with. Northeast has some really good therapists.

I have been going to Simona for about a year now. Honestly I probably do not need to go but just enjoy talking with her, she helps me when I need to put perspective and helps me when I am still feeling anxious. I would highly recommend Simona.

EDIT: I have already tried contacting you morons thru email multiple times, how is this place run by total idiots?

Lisa Costa is beyond useless and has been zero help and has only wasted my time (as have all the staff here). I was approved for a treatment I needed to help with pain but these clowns couldn’t even get me an appointment for a couple months. Then that appointment day finally comes and it gets denied. I’ve been denied twice now don’t waste your time with these idiots especially Lisa Costa she is an absolute moron with no idea what she is doing.

Atrocious. I need to vent so badly, so... here's my (long) story:

I called with an urgent need for ketamine treatment—was on the verge of crisis, and knew I could not last if I didn't have my ketamine within days (ER crisis "care" is not an option in my case).

I asked the front desk whether there was any chance I could get in within 4 days (knowing this may not be doable for a new patient), saying I needed to know so I could make other plans if not. They transferred me to the intake department. I repeated my inquiry, stressing how urgent it was to know this. They made me give my New Patient info first, assuring me somebody would call very soon to let me know.

Nobody called back. I was spiraling over the next week, unable to muster the spoons to call again. Finally I called a week later. Told the front desk what had happened. They said if I hadn't heard back yet, I would very soon, by the end of the week at most. I repeated how I'd been told I would get the call the previous week, and how urgent it was, but they simply repeated their confident assurance that I would *definitely* hear back by the end of this week, with a "there's nothing else we can do" connotation.

Resignedly, I hung up and started forcing myself to trust that the call was coming in order to cope. Luckily, I'd been able to get another slightly-effective treatment in the meantime, which averted a full crisis but caused side effects.

They didn't call back. Not by the end of that week, not by the end of the next. I was overwhelmed with distress and could not call again until the end of that next week. When I did, the front desk sent a message to the department in a different manner, which they said would be received quicker and so I would absolutely, *definitely* hear back soon. I was so defeated I feared trusting again, but pressing for them to directly transfer me yielded nothing. What I heard unquestionably was that I WOULD hear back, and I COULD trust it this time.

No, I couldn't. I waited. And waited. Stressing, detaching. Eventually fighting my messed-up sleep schedule to let me be awake to call again. Weeks later, I forced myself to stay awake long enough for business hours. They picked up; I slowly explained what had happened in a hollow, lifeless voice. They transferred me to the TMS department (why?). Explain again.
The person there—whose voice does the intro recording when you call Northeast Health Services—said they'd contact the ketamine department, which would call me back. I protested adamantly. They assured I would hear back by the end of the day. I insisted I could Not. Trust. Waiting. Again. They responded with a full, 100% certain promise that this time, they would make SURE I received the call by the end of that very day.

That was one week ago.

Last Friday I wrestled with my sleep schedule to call again. No answer. Did it again today. Promised myself I would call again and again until I got through, and when I did, I would demand to speak to the department immediately or somebody as high up as I could. Have called again, again, and again. No answer. I have no time left and my day is wasted.

That this can be allowed to happen to people in dire need of help, with limited energy to spend, and already suffering from psychological, emotional and possibly trust issues, is unconscionable.

-------

I have to say the receptionists I talked to were very nice, and the problem appears to lie in the whole system or the department in question, not them (I think). Regardless of whether it is largely the department's fault, there is something direly wrong with a system—Northeast Health Services—in which this can happen.

-------

Just in case anybody actually reads this:

1) I did make sure they had the right number. My cell phone had no missed calls and was not set to reject any calls. They also had a backup number.

2) I was already approved for ketamine, prescribed by a doctor I can no longer see due to distance/transport issues. If I'd been told at the outset this place couldn't take me soon, I would've paid the $110 for an Uber there.
