I am writing this review to warn others about my experience with this particular practice. Unfortunately, after seeking help from numerous doctors and exploring various avenues for pain management, this was my final attempt at finding relief.

Dr. Jan Gillespie-Wagner and Darci Rossitier were Dismissive and Uncaring. During my appointment, the doctors I encountered displayed a hostile and aggressive demeanor. They failed to consider the impact of my chronic pain on my daily life. Furthermore, they seemed quick to dismiss my concerns and stereotype me as a patient, rather than listening to my specific experiences.

They were apathetic towards atypical pain. The most concerning aspect was their lack of understanding or apparent disregard for my non-typical pain condition. Instead of offering help, they were dismissive and pushed me away as a patient.

A Broken System: It's disheartening to realize how many people suffer at the hands of these medical professionals who are supposed to help. This experience is just one more example of how the current system fails patients with non-standard conditions. DO NOT GO HERE

I love Dr. G and her office! I’ve been going here 3 years now and I’m so happy to have found them. Been dealing with lower back pain from arthritis and sciatica for many years now. Dr. G and her staff always listen to me and treat me with care and respect. At one point I moved farther away from her clinic and tried a different pain doctor. It was horrible!!! I was so happy to go back to Dr. G! I know a good doctor when I see one and she is one of the good ones! I’m so thankful for her and her wonderful office!

Colorado Pain Management has been very effective at treating me. The people at CPM are compassionate and caring. They take the time to get to know you and to understand your situation. They are equipped with many options to help manage chronic discomfort. I’ve had nothing but a pleasant and professional experience with everyone at
CPM.

I have been waiting since December for a call to schedule after they got authorization. My Physician from UCHealth has placed my referral twice now!
When she followed up with them where I am in the process of being scheduled, they told her they tried calling me and my phone number was out of order! Which is a lie! No one called. I have now called office several times to follow up and schedule, and rudely told someone would call me back! This place is unreal, and if your in pain, I believe they just don’t care. I don’t want pain pills! I just want some relief from severe lumbar pain before I proceed with surgery in the fall. Someone not doing their job, and definitely don’t care!!! Obviously, just a warm body filling a chair at that office!!! I have reported this to my physician, hoping they will not refer others there. Just terrible!

Dr. Gillespie and her team have saved my life. Before finding her I had almost given up hope. I have a condition known as CRPS. I had become a shell of who I was before my injury that led to my condition. Dr. Gillespie started treating me with Stellate Ganglion Nerve Blocks and Ketamine infusions which have been game changers. For the first time in years I am planning for my future again. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Edit: after reading other reviews I just want to add that they have always gotten me in for a treatment one way or the other. Dr. Gillespie has treated me instead of taking a lunch break. Her staff have always been kind and compassionate. It’s a bummer reading reviews from reviewers who never got in to see her. I can’t speak to the tedious bureaucracy that is insurance but I can speak to her abilities. After years of struggling to find a Dr. who would actually listen to me and help me I am so grateful I finally did. I know there are so many people struggling with chronic pain and I know that most people won’t ever find a great Dr. Who really cares. I am blessed I did.

By far the best doctors and staff in health care. I have been in a great deal of pain for almost 9 months. My mother goes here as well. She told them how much pain I was in. They stayed open later just to get me in to help give me pain relief while I wait for my procedures to be done at the hospital. Every single staff member was so kind and understood that I was in pain. Today I had a video teleheath appointment, and met even more staff. They all were so kind and wanted to truly help me. They listened to my concerns and I felt I was heard. I highly recommend them to anyone that is needing to get their pain under control.

Brought my wife in for a specific knee procedure. My wife has had 8 knee surgeries and a complete knee replacement. Our appointment was set for 2:45 PM we arrived at 2:15 PM as she was a new patient. We did not see the doctor until 5:00 PM, in that span we were moved to 2 different rooms, seen by three different people (who were not the doctor and asked some pretty ridiculous questions). We had nurses? come in and ask if we had seen other nurses because they could not locate them. I stuck my head out of the room at 4:45 to ask when we would see the doctor and was told she had an emergency and that was the delay. If I had not stuck my head out who knows when we would have been told this! So after three hours and two people manipulating my wife's knee we were ready to throw in the towel. We scheduled the procedure and went home. The next day my wife called the office to ask if they could provide her with some pain medication until the procedure (about 6 days). I will not detail the ineptitude and hostility we encountered/endured but suffice it to say that my wife was treated as if she was an addict shopping for pain meds! Given the total lack of professionalism and organization by the front office we canceled the procedure. I am amazed that this office is still in business as I would not recommend them to anyone. I only wish I had read the reviews here before putting my wife through this experience.

I started the referral process a couple of months ago. Once this office said they finally received the referral, they said the doctor would review my referral to see if she would accept me as a patient. This person also told me she was confused because they do not treat CF. This was NOT the reason for the referral (but included as background health information as it relates to the issue at hand). I heard nothing for several weeks, all the while enduring significant pain flares related to arthritis. I called yesterday and was told that the doctor denied the referral. I asked for the date of the denial and reason. I was told there was no date, and that the doctor does not write reasons for the denial. HERE IS MY COMPLAINT: 1) the doctor doesn't give a reason, and never even spoke with me about why I was there. If the first person believed I was there to be treated for CF, I could have told her that was ridiculous, as I see some of the best CF doctors at National Jewish. 2) I was never called to say they denied me and I should move on and seek help elsewhere. I would still be waiting had I not called. I believe this is MEDICAL NEGLECT. If you CANNOT provide care to someone who is in desperate need of help, you should SAY SO.

I now have to go back to square one and find someone who can help with pain flares related to arthritis. Thank you Northern Colorado Pain Management.
