I have been a patient here for 20 years and loves this places before Northside took over. Called to schedule a sick visit and was told because I had not been in 2 years, I would be considered a new patient. I was not allowed to schedule with Dr Munsey who has been my primary doctor my entire adult life and if I want to still use this place I would need to start with a new doctor. I have never been so upset and disappointed in a place of business for not seeing their established patient when they need it most.

I have tried for the past week to schedule an appointment and the woman in the front desk will not help me.
she said she would call me once she verifies my insurance , I received no call after 2 days
I call on the 3rd day and she asked a different lady to tell me that she will call me back after my insurance is verified.
I need my blood work drawn but the woman working at this office have made it difficult to schedule a day for me to receive the help I need.

Dr Pham is a wonderful doctor. I am actually sad about not using him as my primary anymore. I would not recommend this place based on the service of the front office staff. There is a blond lady with several tattoos who thinks she is a doctor and we’re discussing what she thought I had in-front of other patients in the the waiting room. Even though my symptoms had nothing to do with COVID this lady is insisting that I have COVID. This was so ridiculous I just left. It was not worth the hassle.

We were so impressed! I took my 23 yr son. Both of us were very impressed with the entire office. Front desk, nurse, Dr. Pham were very kind, thorough, and professional. He had blood drawn at the office. This was a big deal for him. Cedric was patient and skilled. My son couldn't believe how painless it was. I hesitate to give them such a good review as I'd like to keep it to myself - jk

This review is regards to a return phone call from the nurse line. I called two days in a row about managing a refill for hypertension medicine from Dr. Johnson. I neglected to give my date of birth. When I received my call from Shawnee I was immediately made to feel horrible because she had to work so hard to spell and find my name. She schooled me on how many patients Northside had and how difficult it was for her to spell my name. I left my phone number both times. She could have called and I would have been more than happy to spell in the same demeaning manner she chose to scream the spelling of her name when I requested it. Her harsh yelling over the phone invoked my husband to take the phone. She began to yell at him as well. Unlike others, I blame Dr. Johnson and the other doctors for subjecting patients to verbal abuse. We will investigate other options. Please do the same. You won’t be respected or valued at this practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson for many years. I have read the reviews and I have to chime in and say that ALL of my dealings with Dr. Johnson have been 5 star. He helped me transition from insurance coverage to medicare coverage and that has been a real challenge for me and him both. He not only is knowledgeable but he has a lot of common sense. I am thankful that he chose Loganville to practice medicine. It is easy to post something negative but this will be read for years to come so I take it very serious. Give him and his staff the opportunity to be of service to you. We are all in this together so let's go at it with a positive spirit.

I Love Dr. Johnson, he’s is an amazing doctor-however ,the front office doesn’t really seem to care about you. I called today for an appointment I understand that it was last minute, but I’m sick and I was just trying to be seen. I asked for an appointment, woman said they were booked today , I waited for her to offer what she had and she did not. So I asked if there was anything available tomorrow . She said no they were booked up. Then preceded to tell me they were booked the rest of the week. Didn’t offer next week , or a wait list . Didn’t seem to care at all. I said okay thank she said thank you have a good day. I was in tears. I’ve been going to that practice since I was six years old. I’m 32 now. My husband goes. I’ve been trying to get my twins there and they keep telling me no. They aren’t accepting new patients. I’m so disappointed. I wish Dr. Johnson was at a different practice. I guess I’ll be changing and it is sad ! I kept telling my husband, I felt like the front was rude and maybe it was just me. After reading the reviews I see I’m not the only one, which is sad but I’m glad to see it’s not just me.

I agree wholeheartedly with the reviews of the staff, especially Shaughnessy. They are AWFUL! My mother is 87 and she’s having a terrible bout of vertigo today. She called this morning to see if they would call her something in and was told no because Dr. Johnson was not in today. I called back and spoke with Shaughnessy and she was the epitome of rude! She would not try to leave a message for Dr. Johnson and she wouldn’t even ask another doctor in the practice to prescribe something. She said my mother would have to be seen, so I said okay make her an appointment. She said she couldn’t do that either. Really? If you have vertigo, riding in a car to get to an appointment is miserable. She told me if it’s that bad, take her to an ER. You shouldn’t be in the medical field if you’re void of compassion, which she is. My mother could easily fall and break something because of the dizziness and that could be deadly for her. I can’t believe that we’re going to have to call an ambulance and put my mother through all of that for a simple prescription. We’re not trying to get opioids, just a simple vertigo prescription. We have several family members and friends who are patients at this practice. The doctors are very good, but all the reviews are terrible for their staff. When I take my mother to her next appointment, I will make sure Dr. Johnson is made aware of our situation and his staff’s reviews on Google. I will also show him the pictures of how pitiful my mother has been today. She’s using a portable toilet because she can’t even get to the bathroom. Shame on you people. You’re a disgrace to the medical profession, especially you Shaughnessy! I hope the doctors make some serious personnel changes soon, starting with her. What good is a doctor or his office if they can’t help you when you’re sick?
