I spent several weeks in physical therapy with Dr. Carla Owen’s at the Lithonia location of 02 Rehab and was easily impressed. The facility is a few steps from the parking lot and is neat, clean and well organized. The equipment is modern and very user-friendly. And the overall atmosphere is very conducive to healing. Dr. Owens is an organized, knowledgeable and caring provider. She created a rigorous, comprehensive therapy plan that captured my doctor’s assessment and my personal expectation. And to ensure the best chance for a successful outcome, she also solicited my review and input. She is very engaging and she required hard work, but was sensitive to any painful responses and was quick to make the necessary adjustments. In addition, Dr. Owen was honest and realistic in her evaluation, feedback and prospects for a satisfactory outcome.

Dr. Owen's was a lifesaver for me. I injured my back (L5-S1 rupture) and was unable to sleep for 4 days or walk more that 20 steps due to the intense pain. The sciatica was unbearable. On my first visit, Dr Owen's simply said "we're going to get you back on your feet"! PT at times was hard but again I was told...."do the work; get the results"! In one month my pain went from over 10 to occasionally 1. I was able to avoid the recommended surgery and was back in the woods hunting and hiking which at times I was afraid I wouldn't be doing anymore. I highly recommended this clinic if you are suffering from an injury. You're not a number at 02 Rehab.....you're a person with a goal. You'll know that walking in the door!

Dr. Carla Owens is a very professional and attentive therapist. She is very knowledgeable, kind and caring. She works with you to prescribe the best physical therapy treatment for your needs. She gives a great explanation of your treatment and help with pinpointing problem areas as well as exercises to overcome issues. She is very personable and makes you feel at home. Back in the Swing!!!
After shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff and being in a sling for 6-weeks; choosing an excellent physical therapy organization was my top priority. Before my surgery, I used a franchised physical therapy company; I would not make that mistake again.
I selected O2 Rehab Solutions, office of Dr. Carla Owens and Dr. Ogechukwu Okoli, 5040 Snapfinger Woods Dr # 205, Decatur, GA 30035. My research led me to believe that choosing Dr. Owens was right for me and an excellent decision for my physical therapy needs.
What inspired and impressed me the most on my first visit was my conversation and discussion with Dr. Carla Owens about her strategy for my recovery, noting that I needed to get back on the golf course, stronger and better than ever. She explained what type of therapy we would work on with the highest level of quality care for me, the patient, during this discussion she was very adamant about her company being different from others, in that their goal was and is to help me, the patient gets back to normalcy and quality of life prior to my surgery.
I highly recommend Dr. Owens and team. They are resolute professionals, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them.

My experiences with Dr. Owens have been fantastic! I have had several different sport related injuries over the years and Dr. Owens has been right there with me to fix me up and get me back in the game. Her wisdom and expertise have proven themselves over and over again. Her diagnoses are always spot on. There were a couple of times she evaluated me and immediately knew that I would need to have a surgery in order to repair the damage. Dr. Owens has helped me in person and virtually. Unfortunately I no longer live close enough to go to her office like I used to, but I still call her and her only when I get some sort of injury that doesn’t seem like something “ normal”. Just the other day I sent her a picture and pointed to where the pain was and told her my symptoms and she was quick to give another accurate diagnosis. I have zero doubt that I’ll be back in action soon enough with the treatment suggestions she gave me. Dr. Owens is easy to talk to, supremely knowledgeable, and has just the right amount of “ momma voice” to know when I need to sit the bench a little longer. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you give her and her staff a visit the next time your body just isn’t doing what it used to do.

Dr. Owens is extraordinarily gifted in her personality, professionalism, and the application of her practice. I have been in her care as my Physical Therapist in office and for home care. Dr. O and staff are amazing! He pushed me every session, but was also understanding on the days I came in and wasn’t 100%. I started my rehab on crutches from acl/meniscus surgery and by the time my body was healed enough to be discharged, I had the confidence that my knee was as strong as before injury, which I absolutely attribute to Dr. O and staff.
