Dr. Brooks was able to fix a foot issue I had for two years. He was attentive and listened to my needs and didn’t downplay my pain. And he provided the absolute best bedside manner during my surgery even going above and beyond to let my mother who is on the East Coast know what my status was. the best Podiatrist in Oceanside. I highly recommend him if you’re having any issues. He will find the best way to make sure you are pain-free and get back to your normal life. Dr. Brooks was extremely helpful and kind. I have been to numerous foot doctors and he was the best I have found as he listened and didn't insist on surgery...sent me to PT which improved my situation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr. Shin and his staff have been wonderful when it comes to my care. I have had no problems with the front office staff like others have, they have been very professional with me. Didn't need any additional approval from my insurance as everything was pre approved before I started treatment, we carry the best insurance that money can buy so that also helps.

Amazing that I have read so many of the 5 stars reviews. I went there for a very painful foot injury. Upon my primary care doctor's recommendation I was to go see Dr. Brooks. So I called the office. First the phone does not get answered but goes to voicemail. Believe me I tried calling various hours of the day, always the same, goes to voicemail recording to leave a message, which there was no response to my message. When I did finally get through and had my appointment, the doctor seemed very nice. Since seeing him I had some complications and again tried calling but to no avail, again got voicemail. I have let my primary doctor know my frustration with that office. NO, I would NOT recommend this office!

In going to Dr. Brooks at the Oceanside Foot & Ankle
Center, i was in constant pain with various feet
issues- the girls in the office were sweet & attentive
to my needs. Dr.Brooks was also very accommodating
to my pain & did several procedures to help me.

Thanks to Dr. Brooks, my foot is on the mend. He was very thorough, gentle, and informative about how I should treat my feet in the future. His staff is courteous and efficient. I definitely will be going back to him if I have any foot problems in the future!
