The gentleman who sets everything up in the early morning, then does my first scans is an exceptional person. Dedicated and knowledgeable. You also always have exceptional Residents, and staff. Excellent operation/flow and Dr Thimons is a truly exceptional Dr and teacher.

Terrible at communication: took weeks & weeks & weeks for someone to call me back re: setting up cross-linking. I would call, told there is only one person who handles the appointments and she is out of NY, and she would get back to me. This went on for weeks with no response.

Lack of Respect: they don’t value your time. Make you wait for longer than normal times for your appointment with not so much as an acknowledgment or apology for keeping you waiting. You will never go there and be seen in less than 45 mins past your appointment time.

You’re just a number: my cross-linking was scheduled for 3:30pm. While I got there on time, I waited 1 hour for them to get me (meanwhile the procedure takes an hour and office closes at 5:00pm). So at 4:30pm we begin, and the initial phase with the doctor was fine. But the next phase, with the Uv Light, was terrible. I was rushed, with the office manager coming in and out of the room to see if we were finished yet. After the 30 mins of UV light, the employee failed to successfully place the bandage contact lens in my eye, leaving me in immense discomfort & pain the entire night until I see someone the next morning.

Bottom line: avoid if you can. Again, you are not a concern of theirs, just a number, just a copay.

Outstanding! I had an emergency, and was taken right away! Dr. Thimons is an incredible ophthalmologist! He is very knowledgeable and pleasant. He made certain that I had all the appropriate testing necessary. He left no stone unturned! His office is also well supplied with necessary ophthalmological equipment. The office personnel are very personable and knowledge as well. He is the best ophthalmologist "eye" have ever seen! Thank you for all of your help!

Dr Tiedemann is the best. She’s patient in really tries to get to the root of the problem. She exhaust every possibility to see which one will best suit me. Which I really appreciate. 10 + for her and her staff.
