Easy to schedule. They are open early and stay way past normal business hours. It’s worth the hour drive to not have to deal with the chaos of SGMC.

I couldn't do a normal MRI at hospital due to being claustrophobic. I didn't like going in head first at this Open MRI so she suggested feet first and gave me an eye mask to put on. The eye mask really helped. The constant beeps were annoying at first but I got used to them. A previous review someone said they walked in their bare feet from the dressing room. I had no problems keeping my socks on. Overall a really good experience - everyone was really nice.

Both my husband and I had to have MRIs done about a month apart. I am extremely claustrophobic and I tried the typical hospital MRIs and I couldn't go through with it. The staff here are WONDERFUL, they are very thorough, kind and compassionate. When we realized my husband had to have one too, we knew we were coming back to Tifton and this experience was even smoother than the last. Highly recommend!

Liars! Beware! This is not a true open MRI! Your face is actually closer to the ceiling of the machine than it would be in a traditional MRI machine, and they drape you with a sheet type thing that locks. Do not go here if you are claustrophobic, it will not help. I recommend a stand up MRI, but you need to travel to Atlanta to find these.

The receptionist took it upon herself to go on a political rant. I came here for a medical procedure. Completely unethical.
The actual MRI was quick and easy.

While understanding this is a business, patient care should still be the priority. At Open MRI It’s more about making the money and meeting a certain quota weekly. It is sad to think that this is what healthcare is becoming.

One receptionist was really nice one seemed to be bothered like I was an inconvenience. Only reason I gave 4 stars. Mrs. Tina in the back was so nice and efficient (really helped me from being so nervous). They don't give you any instructions of how to dress or if you need to be there early so I will do my best to inform you. Wear comfortable clothes like sweats or pajamas with no metal, a sports bra, warm socks, maybe a long sleeve shirt, and easy to slip off shoes. They will give you a blanket if you ask. They give you earplugs and you do have to wear a mask. Area was clean and so was the bathroom. Be there maybe 5 to 10 minutes early for paperwork. They are very good with timing but the scan does take 45 minutes if you don't move much.
