I came into Pacific Beach Family dental recommended by La Jolla Village Orthodontics. I was not disappointed. The team helped me overcome an issue I was having with taking x-rays with kindness and compassion. The office is in a beautiful part of Pacific Beach and the reception staff is very kind.

I cannot say enough great things about Pacific Beach Family Dentistry! Dr. Tutor is hands down one of the best dentists I’ve ever had. The entire team and staff were amazing, but I want to give a special shoutout to Cinnamon, who made my experience easy, comfortable, and as pain-free as possible.

I have been terrified of the dentist for the last 30 years, but they made getting back into the habit an amazing experience. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care truly stand out. I had an amazing visit today! Everyone at this dental office is so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Tudor made sure I was comfortable during my treatment and explained everything clearly. Where do I even begin!, they treat you like family here. I am so glad I found this gem of an establishment. I been insecure of my smile for most of my life, and I can now say I am more than confident in the way my teeth look. On top of taking care of a life-life insecurity, they also made sure to give me extra care for being a disabled veteran. This is hands down the best office I have been to in my life, Joy is the most welcoming and sweet front office person i have encountered she always does everything she can to work with your schedule and make it such an easy process to get in. Dr Omar has done my crowns, root canal and fillings and it was the most painless and relaxing experience i have had. This is coming from someone with a lifelong fear of the dentist, I drive from LA to San Diego just to come to this office that should speak for itself. The staff here from the front office to hygienist's, assistant’s and doctors go out of their way to ensure you have an easy and comfortable experience and I couldn’t recommend them more!

I had good experiences with Pacific Beach Family Dental for multiple years but the service I've received over the last year has left me shaken to my core.

The last cleaning I received was the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced in a dental office. I was fighting back tears and had my fist clenched the whole time. That was something I could have lived with but my experience with doctor Tudor regarding wisdom teeth removal is what has completely changed my mind about this clinic.

I was given a quote for service that was changed 30 minutes before my appointment to 3x the original amount I was quoted. Then after talking to the doctor about looking for a surgeon that was in network for my insurance, I was told there was no one else that would take my plan. This line was given to me multiple times in attempt to have me keep my service at their clinic. I felt like a paycheck rather than a patient.

I found an in network provider days later and have an appointment scheduled within weeks. It seems Dr Tudor was wrong. I do NOT recommend bringing your service here.
