After six weeks and three appointments I have yet to meet this physician. Perhaps he is as "kind" as reviewers say, but I wouldn't know. I can't comment on his medical acumen, but his sense of business and running a practice is abysmal. His staff are cheery, welcoming, and totally clueless. Communication from this practice is confused and ineffective. I wasted six weeks attempting to see this doctor. I would strongly advise against patronizing his business. He is clearly in need of competent support staff as his own prolifically apologetic signs all over his office indicate, begging patients to indulge the incompetence.

Your response below is further corroboration of ineptitude at your practice. Clearly, you have no idea to whom you are even responding. I have no medical history with you. You have never met me. What phantom records do you deem to transfer? You have never diagnosed me. Every item listed in your response is not factual and a total fabrication. There were no disruptions, no offers of multiple appointments, no treatments. I independently sought out x-rays that you have not reviewed and you have never examined me. I only know what you look like from your abundant television commercials touting superior care. I am highly skeptical of this claim as your support staff are as clueless as you are, Sir.

I went here twice with foot pain and I give it a star because at least the staff are kind and not rude but the experience otherwise was pretty strange. Both times I went in I came 15 minutes before my appointment time and had to wait. The first wait time was about 30 minutes and the second time was one hour and ten minutes! I had started thinking about leaving but I live an hour away so it’s very inconvenient to come back. My second appointment was a follow up specifically to see if I needed another cortisone shot. My foot still had pain but it was improving so I didn’t know if I needed another shot or not. I wanted to talk to the doctor about whether it was necessary or not and what other treatments I could do, things like stretches and orthotics. When the nurse prepped me for my second appointment she asked a few times if I wanted a cortisone shot and I mentioned that I wasn’t sure. When the doctor finally came in at 2:40, an hour and ten minutes after my appointment time, he immediately asked how my foot was and followed up saying so you don’t want the shot, which was strange bc I hadn’t decided. The whole appointment feels insanely rushed which makes sense if they are running over an hour late but is not great for me since I’ve driven an hour to be there, waited over an hour, and paid the $45 copay. I start asking the doctor my questions starting with orthotics and if they’d be helpful. He says yes then jumps up and says, “I’ll check to see if your insurance covers it” and he leaves the room. I sit waiting for him to come back when after 30 seconds the nurse that was in the room with us asks me if the doctor is coming back. I assumed he was but now that she’s asking I have doubts. We stare and each other and she seems unsure about what to do. I ask her to go check to make sure he’s coming back. The nurse comes back and tell me the doctor is not coming back my appointment is over and I can ask the staff at the desk if my insurance will cover orthotics. I’m pretty flustered because the whole appointment felt like it was 60 seconds long and we’d only gotten to my first question! I have a few more! Like if my foot keeps hurting how long do you recommend I wait to see if it’ll improve vs come back for another cortisone shot! Are there stretches/messages I can do for it. But I will get answers to neither of those questions. I probably should have demanded to see the doctor again. I did explain my experience to another staff member who asked how my appointment went and I was hoping she would help me out but all she said was that she’d mention my experience in their next staff meeting. That’s great but is not at all helpful for me.
The staff member who helped me with my orthotics insurance question was so kind and patient but unfortunately my insurance did not cover orthotics and the cost was $590. I am also wondering if the doctor really recommended orthotics why he didn’t mention it at the first appointment. Why did I have to research treatments and come in asking about them. There is more to the story but it’s long and boring. The staff continued to help me with the orthotics process though there also continued to be some chaos and confusion. For example, the staff member said if I went home and decided not to go through with the orthotics, they’d throw the molds away after about 3-4 days and I didn’t have to worry about calling them or paying. Well fast forward 6 days, almost a week after my appointment when a staff member calls me and starts the conversation by saying I owe $590. Excuse me sir? The conversation goes pretty smoothly when I decline to pay and confirm that I don’t want the molds sent in but clearly the staff continue to miscommunicate since I was told that the molds would be no good after 3-4 days and that I didn’t need to call to let them know I wasn’t going to get them. I hope the staff there gets their processes and communication down a little bit more. But unfortunately thats a whole afternoon off of work and $45 that I’ll never see again.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Bobby and the entire staff at Palm Springs Podiatry! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating and Dr. Bobby has always made me feel truly cared for…I’ve never felt rushed or like I wasn’t getting the appropriate amount of face time with him and I appreciate that so so much! Dr. Bobby really pays attention to the details and is super thorough with his diagnosis and treatment plans…consider me a patient for life 🙂

It saddens me to write this review. Unfortunately, there is no way to separate stars . . . Otherwise I would give the healthcare staff a five star review! They are informative, friendly and downright professional. Ultimately, is does not matter if you do not have access to that "amazing" care.

The administrative staff is a different story. This year the experience has been disheartening. I say this year because the dynamics of the office staff has changed drastically from the previous year. I remember being able to schedule months in advance. Now, appointments get rescheduled on a continuum. If that's not bad enough, some of the office staff will adamantly deny the appointment was made. This has happened thrice! Once, I was told I missed an appointment that the office canceled.

It is unfair to shuffle patients around at the last minute. All while being unable to reschedule the appointment the provider canceled. Then, get placed on a wait list, promised a call back that you do not receive (hence, you call back on day three) schedule the appointment, only for it to be rescheduled again, by the provider. Patients have busy schedules also. Our time matters.

And yes, "the world" especially the healthcare arena, is absolutely experiencing staff shortages. When rescheduling is requested by the provider and when it is not the first or second time, kindness instead of discord goes a long way.

We have decided to seek another provider. The numerous amounts of rescheduled appointments is overwhelming, in spite of the exceptional patient care.

I wish the healthcare staff the best of luck. I will certainly miss your smiles and attention to detail.

Dr Bobby is simply the best Podiatrist. He is so kind and caring I am terrified of injections and he made me feel safe and secure. I was unable to walk for weeks and after my procedure and I am back to normal. I would recomended Palm Springs Podiatry top anyone.

I've had some good experiences here with the staff. I have regular foot care here and they've been very helpful. Thus far I've had great experiences with nurses and the team that's helped with my foot care issues. They are very kind and empathetic and have gone the extra mile to check what is covered in regards to insurance.

(Note: I have not seen, or had to see, the doctor on staff and it is my understanding that he's booked months in advance and splits time between several locations in the area, as is common here - a reality of health care in the desert. This is not a negative at all against this doctor/office but I would say if a patient has a very urgent foot issue they may want to explore other offices as well.)

What a horrible office of phonies! And a wacko: Dr. Bobby Pourziaee. I was a customer....patient for years. I was going there 5 days/week for PT...pedicures and alkaline treatments! I was there all the time...way more than probably necessary....but I went loyally. Then there was a staff change and I was not seen 3x when I showed up for any of my appointments!
I wrote Dr Pourziaee an email explaining the whole situation and how I was not seen for the last 3 appointments. I thought he would like to be aware of what was occurring in his practice.
Well......instead of making things right and apologizing.......he had his manager, Maria call me to tell me I was not permitted back! I thought she was a friend. She promised to talk to the Dr and call me back the next day. Not only did NO ONE from the office vouch for me and explain the situation to the Dr.......they NEVER EVEN CALLED ME BACK........NOR did they Refer me to anyone else! I AM LEFT WITH NO PODIATRIST!
I have never heard WHY I was dropped......and no recommendation referral of where to go........that I would NOT trust anyway as the office is full of passive aggressive people. They are nice to your face but talk about you behind your back.
Check out your medical bills........they charge a fortune for their treatments to the insurance companies. They put your feet in a bucket of water and charge the insurance $25 for a "whirlpool".......you get the idea!
DO NOT GO HERE!
I thought the staff loved me......I always brought them goodies and not one of them stood up for me. I was a very active and loyal client and look how I was treated. They even charged my insurance company for those dates that I showed up for no service!
Just disgusting and dishonest!
