I am posting this review for Dr Snellgrove, who is in practice with the Pensacola Podiatry Center.
I REALLY ENJOY GOING TO THIS OFFICE!! Besides, the office being Ultra-Clean!! And it is!! Dr Snellgrove is a Fantastic PODIATRIST. ? Furthermore, he has an absolutely great sense-of-humor!!

If you’re retired and receiving Medicare, like I am, it will pay for you to go get your feet taken care of, and let me tell you, it is darn well worth it. To get your toenails, trimmed properly and far far better than you or I could ever do!! And then get your Feet ? / Ankles / up the Calf Lotion properly!!!! WHAT—HEAVEN—BLISS!!!! Needless to say, there are several podiatrist offices here in Pensacola.

When I am back in Pensacola, And especially before I leave to go back home, where I actually live predominantly, Up inside, the, Yaak Valley, 5 miles from the Canadian Border, I make sure I get into their office before I leave…… Because where I live is considered by many, to be extremely remote. And I reckon we are because it’s an area of the United States that still has dial up Internet service.

That’s because they are only 140 full-time residence year around, 24 / 7 Living here up and down the valley, that is almost 170 miles long. This side of the border, and the other side of the border. The, Closest Podiatrist for me, Is down in Kalispell MT. From where I live, is 125 miles. If you Google the distance between the 2 towns, It will give you that many miles. But, It also says driving time is 2 hours & 24 minutes.

To Boil it right on down the gravy, 2 1/2 hours. And that’s because you’re driving very mountainous narrow roads. You will go from 5000 feet ? ? to 9000 feet ? Back down to 1000 feet. Needless to say, up, Up. ? ⬆️ And down down, And back down. Oh. In closing, Our little town of Yaak,

Has 2 stores. ? THE DIRTY, SHAME, SALOON / THE YAAK RIVER MERCANTILE & TAVERN. And the closest town of any size, Is Troy. 30 miles away. In good weather, It will take you about 45 minutes. Once again, It’s a very narrow, two-lane road. In bad weather

Which means lots of snow!!!!! And snowing heavy. It can take you anywhere from two hours to even longer. And that’s if you can even make it. My closest neighbor is over in Canada ? 3 miles On the other side of the border.

Cannot not possibly thank Dr. Castagna, his nurses and staff enough for their care, kindness professionalism, and for their very skilled work.
I just had foot surgery this morning by Dr. Castagna. He and all of his staff are always so friendly, professional and helpful...
My foot is already feeling better than it has in years and I know as soon as the stitches are removed; I'll be able to finally walk a lot better than I ever have since relearning how to walk after my TBI and with much less pain.

I highly recommend Dr. Castagna to anybody needing foot care.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!

Dr. Snellgrove was in the room for less than 5 minutes; barely spoke to me; clipped a tiny part of my nail to send off (charged $268 JUST for that part). Never heard back, I had to call. I have to go in again for a prescription; was told none will be called in. Staff polite but also felt rushed along, nobody even smiled. Very unhappy.

Urgent care sent me to Pensacola podiatry. I had to call them almost 2 weeks after referral because they didn’t call me after referral for possible fracture of the right foot. They got me in within a couple of days at the Davis Highway location. I had an early morning appointment but it took over 3 hours to be seen. The doctor Only spent about 5 minutes with me. He said I had torn ligaments and to be off my foot for a week or two. Slowly increase activity, then dismissed me vary quickly. I’m still having problems 8 weeks later. My primary ordered mri and will be seeing orthopedic doctor- hoping for more insight than what I got at Pensacola podiatry. The staff at Pensacola Podiatry seemed rushed and hurried to get me out of there. I didn’t get my questions answered that I had. I do not recommend them.

I went to Dr. Snellgrove for the first time about 3 months ago because I wasn't particularly a fan of the podiatrist I had seen before. Dr. Snellgrove has now done a matrixectomy on each great toe. He is very down to earth, makes you feel comfortable and he did everything by the book. And he has a sense of humor. Explained aftercare in detail and gave written instructions as well. His staff is also very friendly and professional. Wait time is reasonable. I highly recommend him.

Very seldom leave reviews about services & goods I receive but in this case I would be remiss if I didn't respond to the treatments & excellent service I received from Dr. Etheridge & wonderful staff. With a badly infected toe that Urgent Care & hospital ER would only offer antibiotics & suggestion to see a Podiatrist immediately. Contacted numerous Podiatry offices with a 6-7 week wait. My toe wouldn't last that long before the infection claimed it. Thxs to a friend recommending Dr. Etheridge, I was secured an appointment thxs to Ms Theresa (as I recall) the day after contacting the office. Great/friendly/helpful staff. Can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Etheridge. Professional, friendly, courteous, and a great guy. I would travel from the other side of the country to have this Physician treat me. I truly know had he not seen me on such a short notice, I was looking at losing my large toe. Thank you Dr. Etheridge & staff. LCDR Jim Kelly USNR-R.

Dr. Castagna treated my heel pain for almost a year. He said I had Achilles tendonitis and a heel spur and gave me insoles and told me to stretch. When that didn't work he gave me NSAIDS. When that didn't work he gave me prednisone(which can be bad for tendons per my pharmacist). He never had any other imaging done other than the x-ray in his office. Me feet were getting worse. I found Torres-Hodges podiatry and 1 MRI later showed I have plantar fasciitis and advanced tendonosis in my posterior tibial tendon. Dr Castagna severly misdiagnosed my condition and now i have to have surgery. He might be good at other things but heel pain ain't one of them
