Just had my wisdom teeth removed about a week ago. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. The doctor was knowledgeable and did a skillful job. It was a good experience as much as something like this can be.

I was terrified to get my wisdom teeth taken out, especially because I had a slightly complex case. Dr. Phan was a friendly surgeon who made sure I was comfortable, answered every question I had, and listened to all of my concerns. I did local anesthesia, and the procedure was so quick and painless, I was shocked when it was over. Dr. Phan was efficient, spending less than 10 minutes on each tooth. I healed with no problem. Overall, my experience with Dr. Phan was phenomenal. He is clearly a very experienced and talented surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone for their surgery.

I was referred here from my general dentist for wisdom tooth extraction as an adult. No insurance so I asked around and his pricing is good. It was a much better and pleasant experience than I expected for a minor yet scary surgery. He and his assistant were very professional. Instructions were repeated multiple times so I know what would happen before, during, and after. Local anesthesia made things painless and he was quick. Tooth out in maybe a minute, then cleaning up and sewing the gum back, a few more minutes. Total I think only maybe 5-10 mins and no pain really. He let me know what was happening during the process. He also called to follow up that night and assured that bleeding is normal for the 1st 24 hrs. It was scary and worrisome because it was bleeding continuously even after frequent gauze changes. After 1st day, things got much better as bleeding stop and healing began. It's been a week now, there is still a hole where the big tooth was but I believe my body will fill it up eventually. I am happy I took care of this big and troublesome tooth! Thanks Dr Phan and Thuy!

Dr. Phan is one of the nicest and accommodating docs I have ever met, and he was incredible. My impacted wisdom tooth came out in a few minutes without any pain! He also called me later that day to check on how I was doing, which was very thoughtful of him. Additionally, his staff was also amazing and straightforward unlike those of my previous oral surgeon. I highly recommend coming here for wisdom teeth extraction.

I had a terrible experience with the big, silver haired, rude receptionist girl. The brunette was nice to me. I have been in pain and my tooth is killing me , I had an appointment and I took time off work to get it extracted. The day finally came and I drove all the way there only to be extremely rejected. When I got there they wouldn't let me use my care credit account to pay for the work. I asked if there was another way to bill the work to an account and the silver haired receptionist just said no looking at me with an irritated and impatient look, her voice was unapologetic and full of attitude and anger towards me. I am still in pain. Looking elsewhere for an extraction. Hope it doesn't turn into a bigger infection. Thank you

This office is a fraud. They performed extracting my wisdom teeth. After a week or so, I got a bill which tell me the office send total bill was $1112.00. My insurance covers 80% and I have to pay the rest which is $191.40. I call in the office to request the refund but then they refused to. They told I signed of what I paid. First of all, they did not explain the detail how the bill work. They told me just precharged $221.60 in case the insurance cover enough. They asked me to sign when I was sitting on the right before the operation. It looks like a trap to me that I was not aware of. While I am writing this review, I also filling the complaint to the Dental Board.

Went to this dentist for an extraction. Kept me for nearly 2 hours taking insurance info and watching video on care of teeth then said he couldn't help and to go to a hospital. Before I left he told me he didn't take my insurance and charged me $70! He waited for nearly 2 hours to mention this! A COMPLETE SCAM!!! Had this experience with other doctors and a hospital here in the San Jose area. BE CAREFUL OF DOCTORS AND HOSPITALS IN SAN JOSE AND DONT PAY IF THEY TRY THIS SCAM WITH YOU!!!

Would totally not recommend this place. Not sure about the doctors work but they don’t value patient’s time and the receptionist gave me wrong information. At the beginning of the appointment she said I needed an X-ray since my old X-ray was more than 2 years old, and that they will apply for insurance and see if it would be covered. An hour later, she asks me to pay 70€ shows me a receipt where they say insurance won’t cover it. When I asked her when she pulled that information she showed the day which was previous day when I called. So she clearly knew insurance won’t cover it and misguided me. It was just a consultation appointment and it went for more than an hour with waiting half the time. It was an absolute waste of my time and money!
