My mom was there for 12 days in December. Everyone was very nice and accommodating to her. My one thing I would say is the cleaning person was a thumb down. I would just clean the room daily and after things were done. The pct and nurses were GREAT.

I came in by ambulance with severe stomach pain at 2:30am, can barely walk. My blood was taken and urine however that is it. It’s 7:10AM now and I still have not been seen. I’m sitting in a hard chair with SEVERE stomach pain, I asked the receptionist was there ANYTHING that could be done due to me being in pain even asked to go lay in the car. I was told no and dismissed because they don’t have enough beds and nurses which is also negligent. If you don’t have beds/nurses send patients to different hospitals but to have over 15 ppl in the lobby waiting to be seen for hours is crazy. The woman in the photo is VERY nasty, no empathy for patients and does not need to be in healthcare filed.!

This has been the worst experience of my life…I’m afraid for my life with severe head pain and I expressed at least 10 times that the pain was getting worse. I sat for 3 hours and no one saw me or answered me when I used the nurse call button. I just walked out and headed to another hospital with the hopes of being seen. I better not see a bill from Piedmont Fayetteville hospital because they did not see me. The picture is the staff on duty. Worst hospital ever!

They have a handful of nurses that really care that’s nice to you, but then you have some that literally gives you their attitude and ass to kiss but I will say that Dr. Patel is a great doctor and his bedside manner is top-tier..other than that I can say that many of them work in hospitality just for the paycheck ! I don’t like rude & dismissive nurses nor doctors! TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WOULD WANT YOURSELF OR FAMILY TO BE TREATED !! SIMPLE AS THAT !! 😡

The ER needs to be retrained we’ve been here for more than five hours only for the vitals to be taken once when they said it should be taken every two hours, They keep coming back and calling the same as they’ve been calling five hours ago. People have gone in the back now is a whole new staff and no one hasn’t even called for my loved ones vitals I have never seen it like this probably won’t get out of here until the morning when the next shift comes, my Loved one is a diabetic Which he did let them know in the beginning But no one Checked his sugar, which is very high, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this establishment for care of myself or my loved one

My nurses Abby, Karen and Marque were absolutely amazing. (thats why I gave 3 stars instead of 2) In general, everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, bar a couple. The food was terrible, for a hospital to have such seemingly unhealthy choices was ridiculous. And having dietary restrictions made it way worse. I will give a little grace due to the holiday then the snow storm. But the hospital could have been more prepared. I heard nurses had to stay over when their replacements didn't come in or nurses needed the next day, had to sleep in chairs not to have to drive home. What a horrible way to treat your staff and then expect them to have good attitudes to deal with sick people. After waiting in the waiting room for 5 hours and then sitting in the ER chair for another 10+, finally getting to an ER bed for 8+/- I spent another 2 days admitted. We saw 4 FOUR doctors, no continuity of care, the first 2 were useless. The second one took my med/doctor sheet that I now always bring with me and we never saw it again nor did it get entered into any system. I had to repeat my meds several times to different staff to ensure I would get my daily medications. The nurse in the ER was nice, but cold and uncommunicative. He also allowed my iv vein to blow and fill my arm with fluids. Thank God it wasn't the antibiotic, I'm sure you would have charged me double for that! The first time we really got any info was when a sub nurse checked on me when "my nurse" was on break. He talked with us for 30 minutes, looked at my labs, and discussed what would most likely happen next. This was over 12 hours into my ordeal and ER check in! He also said, "yes, when you have a doctor you really have to corner them. If they can get away with out answering questions they will." WT actual F!!! The survey Piedmont sent me kept asking how likely am I to recommend Piedmont to anyone. Well I would never recommend going to the hospital. It doesn't look like there is much choice in the area as everything IS Piedmont. Maybe one hospital is better or worse. When my iv blew a third time, there was nobody in the phlebotomy or IV access team to help as everyone who could was scurrying home to beat the snow. Thankfully Marque jumped in (as he was staying because his relief never arrived). Marque did the best IV which held out until I was released.

I hope I never have to go back! In my opinion, this is a glaring example of profits over people $$$ What happen to "do no harm"? Neglect IS harm. Understaffing IS harm. Underpaying IS harm. Too bad this will likely be seen as the rantings of a crazy lady (by which I proudly identify) As the "hospital SYSTEM" it would be shocking if anything changed for the better of the patients, staff or community! 😢
