My son and I went in for a routine cleaning. They told me I needed X-rays.. easy enough.. they stuck this large camera in my mouth and I started gagging they gave me attitude about the fact they had to use the kids one on me. Then they said my teeth had so much tarter they would have to do a deep clean. Which they said was $400 per side.. top and bottom. $400 x 4! Then proceeded to recommend their credit card options to me!! I’m 38 have never had a cavity in my life! I promptly declined and scheduled another appointment with a different local dentist who told me my teeth were fine and what they told me was complete nonsense. I would never go back here. Not sure how they are still in business.

The staff at Plainfield Dental are wonderful. Dr Mohan is knowledgeable and kind. Office staff are responsive to needs. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is that sometimes you wait long for past your appointment time to get called back and like many other dental offices they book out pretty far for fillings and non routine cleaning issues, but in my experience this is across the board in the dental world. Overall I would highly recommend Plainfield Dental.

Wonderful job and amazing staff. Thank you. The last dentist I had was terrible I have to get a tooth redonunbecause the last dentist decided he wasn't going to clean them properly before filling them so now they have yet another cavity underneath the filling he put in. The staff there is really polite and funny and friendly and that to me is the best type of environment ever when You're having a complete stranger inside your mouth.

This doesn’t even deserve one star, it should be zero. For starters, people at the front desk are extremely rude, as well as the dentists. I had to leave as they were about to start because I was having extreme stomach issues, and I got nothing but attitude. I had gotten two fillings on my bottom left and right molars, just for them to start hurting when eating or drinking, so I went to another dentist, and found out that the cavities were not even filled all the way, and that they messed up the nerves in there, so I now need root canals. On top of this, my retainer did not fit after getting said two fillings. They numbed me, but I could still feel it, so I raised my hand up to ask to get numbed more, and they had “run out” of it. Overall, will never be coming back here, and I HIGHLY recommend for you to not either.

Do not go here!! Most painful and horrible experience I have ever had at a dentist.
I had an appointment to that I’ve been waiting MONTHS for and it was for a root canal. I went to my appointment today and it was another dentist named manik mohan. I put my trust in him but he said I didn’t need a root canal just fillings. Multiple thing went wrong with this visit.

1. He assumed that I was comparing him to the other dentist prior and asked me if I was a doctor and that he was and he knows what he’s doing and to not question him

2. I felt so uncomfortable that I said okay and put all my faith in the process but when I was in pain and squirming around and raising my hand he did not once ask me are you okay but instead he spoke the words “ it seems like you have traumatic experience.” Now i can’t talk because he’s working in my mouth and me raising my hand did not get his attention that I’m in PAIN.

3. He argued with his dental assistant right in front of me making me feel even more uncomfortable.

4. Instead of answering my questions he snapped back or shot all my concerns and questions down instantly and making me feel like I’m the wrong person and making me feel less than.

5. One thing for me is I want a beautiful smile. I’m sure we all do. When I told him I didn’t want silver fillings, guess what he did? Put silver fillings.

Here I am, in my car crying out of the most painful and horrible experience of my life.
I’m in pain much worse than I was prior to this and my insurance paid for the root canals which he did NOT PREFORM. Why? I’m not sure. I should have got up and went elsewhere when I had the chance.

I’m begging you please please please don’t see this dentist.

Definitely going to report him for malpractice, putting me in complete fear, and disregarding my questions and concerns.

This could have cause more harm than good and I’m at a time right now my health can not decline

I came here to get better and now I left worse and there’s no undoing what he’s done.
