This is probably the most efficient and pleasurable staff that I've had the chance to work with as a patient. They are caring and listen from beginning to end. I loved that they scheduled my surgery remotely as it shows they know how to run a business. Dr. Choi was very efficient and thorough in our discussion and reviewing my images. Jerry Thelander - Dr Choi preformed back lower back surgery on me. I was treated with the utmost respect and given the best possible treatment. His office is efficiently run by a well trained staff. I was on time and every aspect of my appointment was timely. My surgery was successful, although there were a few surprises when the surgery was in process. Dr Choi is amazing. My mom had been suffering from lower back pain for as long as I can remember and eventually got to the point that she can barely walk so we knew it was time to do surgery. We couldn’t have found a better surgeon than Dr Choi! He is wonderful and definitely one of the best in his field. He gave my mom her life back.

I will not claim to have used Dr. Choi's PT clinic or his associates. I will also not tell you that his staff is ultra organized... BUT I will tell you that he is a fantastic surgeon, talented, and professional, and has done a world of good for me. He is not a chatty person and will not visit with you about your family, but he is honest and practical in his advice and was very clear about his diagnosis and my surgery.... I had a very complex situation in my upper spine and he did a marvelous job for me. As far as I am concerned he is worth the wait.. yes,I had to wait to have my surgery (he's a busy man) and I made some effort to make appointments but it was well worth it. A good investment of my time and energy.

Best Medical Experience of my life. I avoided this fusion for 7 years because of horror stories. I had lost a great deal of the quality of my life due to back pain. He was referred to me by my physical therapist because his patients just healed faster. I met him and he took the time to explain everything. I decided that he was my Doctor. The nurse that checked me in for surgery called him "Dr. Amazing." The surgery was great, not painless, its back surgery. However, I was off pain meds at 2 weeks. People who know I had back surgery are suspect when they see me - they are sure I didn't have a double fusion. I had my L4-S1 fused and it is doing great!!

When you think there is no hope and the pain is too much to bear, stop and remember that things can change. I was in that same situation and my neighbor referred me to Dr. Choi, who had done surgery on him and twice on his father. The minute I met Dr. Choi I knew my almost two years of suffering was coming to an end. The best advice I can offer is when you first see Dr. Choi have your questions ready, because he wants your experience with him to be the most successful and stress free as possible. He wants you to be satisfied before you move forward. I'm 67 years old and this was the first surgery I ever had so you can imagine how apprehensive I was. I don't what he does to motivate his office staff, but it works. I have never had a bad experience with any member of his staff. And Marshon Jones the NP was great with follow ups, and when he showed up in the hospital at 5AM to check on me, I could finally see some light and some future in my life. When my daughter-in-law who is a surgical technician at Parker Adventist Hospital told me that Dr Choi heads up a non-profit clinic that goes to foreign countries and offers his services for free to underprivileged people, I knew I found the right Doctor that really cared about people. I was so impressed that I plan to volunteer for his non-profit clinic so I can give back as well. I'm just so happy to be back to my normal self, and so are my wife and sons. THANK YOU DR. CHOI!!
