I had the best experience - needed to get in last minute and they were able to accommodate. Michelle went above and beyond what I could have asked for to make sure I was seen and cared for. I’m so grateful for everything she did for me - wouldn’t have happened without her! I would highly recommend this practice!

So happy we found this place. I went to Jessica years ago at another practice. Was looking for a new doctor for my mom. We both switched to here. We are seeing Kelsey and she is amazing.
Appointments are timely and thorough. We both were very happy here.

My husband and I love this office! We’ve been patients of Progressive Health for several years but at the Wilmington office. The Newark office is closer to us and we feel is run extremely well and the staff is super personable and helpful. They always answer the phone or call if you need a return call, they are always prompt. These things used to be normal, but with other offices etc., it’s just not that way anymore. Not with this office as we have experienced nothing but amazing service. Keep up the great work!

Stay away. Terrible customer service. Didn't even make it to the office. Secretary/receptionist staff is very rude.
Full disclosure, I had an appointment and forgot about it. I called 1 hour and 15 minutes before to cancel appointment. Forgive me for being human and making a mistake!
The staff questioned me why I didn't call the day before. Supposedly they sent text reminders, which I never received.
Once I explained to her, I didn't receive any notifications, the response I got was "I'm not here to argue with you. You were given reminders and I told you about our policy. Now we can't take you as a new patient..."
Mind you, during this whole conversation, I was not having a combative voice or raising my voice in any way. Again, I know I messed up in canceling last second...
After saying "We can't take you as a new patient" she repeated twice that she would have to talk to the provider and see if they would make an exception. You think I want to become a new patient when this is the way you are treating me over the phone? No thank you.
Before I wrote this review, I see I'm not the only one feeling this way about the staff. It's unfortunate because the location for is convenient for my family and me. But I rather travel further than being treated and disrespected this way.

Dr Funk was my PCP for over 40 yrs! I had all the confidence in the world for him. His medical experience has gotten me through several medical problems that could have meant my life. Kudos to Dr Funk and all his staff. When he retired I didn't know what to expect. Thank God Jessica treats her patients great just like Dr Funk
I would highly recommend this practice.

I've been going to Dr. Funk my entire life (since I've been born). I have seen the changes from the office to staff members over the years. Dr. Funk is very pleasant and knowledgeable but some of his staff is down right rude, especially the receptionists. They talk down to patients as of they are beneath them and they can be nasty at times. I had an issue with a bill and they gave me a hard time .Even refused to see me but another nurse interjected and explained to her that I needed to be seen immediately because of my blood pressure. Once I explained to him about my bill he simply stated that he will take care of it for me. Besides a change in attitude as far as staff goes, I hope to continue to see Dr. Funk as my primary doctor.

I would not recommend anyone to Dr. Funk because he proscribed me pain pills which led to addiction that lasted for years. I know that everyone has free will but instead of him trying to help me get on the right track he just continued to prescribe pain pills until my insurance wouldn't pay for them anymore, at that point I was already an addict. I am clean and sober now by the grace of my higher power! I've been sober for almost 5 years now and I haven't been happier in life. He also violated my HIPPA act and gave my personal information out.
