Hello everyone. Id like to leave a review for Dr. Ramin Raiszadeh for the simple fact that he isn't only a good doctor but he is an incredible human being. From the moment I first met him I instantly felt safe and secure. I was so scared for my procedure. I had a L5S1 Spine fusion & disc replacement. He was very clear on the details for my case. He assured me that everything was going to be alright & that he would do whatever was in his power to help me feel better. Which he did. I'm truly thankful for him & his team. I've also met a few people that have been treated by Dr Raiszadeh and they spoke very highly of him 🙂 it's been 2 weeks since my surgery and i feel so good. Thank you kindly Dr Raiszadeh.

Amazing! The staff have been amazing, very attentive and thorough. I would like to recognize Jo especially, she took the time out to call me even when she was on vacation to get the ball rolling. Her, Dr. Raiszadeh, CJ and Melanie made miracles happen. We literally spoke at the beginning of this month, they were able to speed up the process and get all of my tests completed so Dr. Raiszadeh was able to get surgery at the end of this month. Again, amazing staff and very thorough. Thank you to you all!!!

I am a patient of Dr Raiszadeh and he gave me my life back. Amazing bed side manner, he hears the details you are not telling him because he listens to his patients.

I was in acute pain for months with no ability to do anything. Driving a car was horrifyingly painful a long with most everyday activities. For a week before my surgery I was laid out in bed with migraine headaches. Dr Raiszadeh was not sure he should operate I was in such bad shape. His words morning of the surgery "my man this is not going to end well". I asked him to take a chance, and he did. He replaced 2 discs in my neck. When I woke my pain was gone, my new life had started. Dr. Raiszadeh could have been anything in life but he chose to be a doctor and healer and I thank him every chance I can for what he has done for me.

His skill makes him good, his compassion makes him amazing and his desire to always be better is why you wait for him and no one else to operate on your spine.

Thank you Dr. Raiszadeh For the choices you have made to bring you to this station in life. Without you I would not be here.

I’ve had 2 separate cervical disc replacement surgeries about 14 months apart and both went very well. I’m now 3 months post surgery from my last disc replacement and I feel pain free and strong! Dr. Raiszadeh and his team are very professional and go out of their way to accommodate me. I’ve had multiple telemedicine appointments as well. Highly recommend!!

This is where you should be directed when you Google or Yelp search for “The Best Spine and Brain Surgeon in Southern California”. The exceptional level of treatment and care I’ve received has been nothing less than astounding.

I’ve been under the care of Dr. Ramin Raiszadeh and his staff for roughly three years. He and his team were able to work with me through two debilitating injuries. Dr. Raiszadeh worked with me for roughly a year, trying to get me out of lower back pain. We’re talking about the kind of pain you’re in that makes it hard to even breathe. Ultimately, WE came up with an extensive treatment plan to attack the pain. After exhausting every possible avenue, we ultimately got to the point of lumbar fusion. It was the last thing I wanted, but after getting these results, I’m nothing but grateful and astonished. He and his team worked with me throughout the lengthy recovery process. Initially the recovery sucked, but what do you expect after getting stuff fused together?! It took work, rehab, and a good team. The end result is my regained level of mobility and decreased amount of pain I could have only dreamed of before surgery. Unfortunately I’ve had to lean on Dr. Raiszadeh and his team a second time due to a previous cervical fusion (c5/c6) from 2012.

The cervical levels above and below were wracking me with pain all over. This time was a similar plan of attack except you had to add the complication of old hardware. We tried the multiple injections for pain management, physical therapy, massage, medication, acupuncture…all of it. You can try all you want, but X-rays and MRI’s are undeniable. Having a brilliant surgeon explain your MRI/X-ray results and why you’re in pain really reflects their motto of “Highly Specialized and Deeply Compassionate”. Having Dr. Raiszadeh perform disc replacements on multiple levels, remove the old hardware, and then an additional fusion in one operation is AMAZING! Think about that….replaced two levels….took out old material….and then perform a solid fusion! Those could have easily been three different surgeries. Calling Dr. Raiszadeh “Skilled” is an understatement. This guy really is amazing and I’m a fanboy for life. Yes, he is in high demand and he’s totally worth it. If you want the best Surgeon to work on the one and only body you’ve got, this is him. His level of concern and follow up with me has been shocking. He has genuine concern and such attention to detail on every aspect, not just the surgery, but also the results! I am truly grateful for Dr. Ramin Raiszadeh and his team. I couldn’t imagine getting through all of this without the team at Spine and Brain Institute of San Diego. I especially want to thank you, Dr. Ramin Raiszadeh. You really are an amazing Surgeon, sir.

This review is not for the doctor. It is for the management of the office. My doctor referred me to this office two weeks ago and I have not had any luck making an appointment. They have never answered the phone. They tell you leave a message which I am not sure where and how often it is checked since I have not received a call back. Voicemail also tells you can call office manager whom I called and she is out of office for another week with no one covering her responsibilities while she is out. Overall very unprofessional and mismanaged practice.

I received back surgery-L5S1 a few years ago and Dr Ramin and his team never once informed me he performed a laminectomy, I was informed before and after the operation that it was only a discectomy. Team member told me they cut a large portion of my disc and could not tell me how much. (supposedly just a discectomy). I moved to Illinois and got a mri with the St louis VA about 2 years after my surgery due to severe agonizing pain and was told they also cut a portion of my spine bone off to relieve pressure.

Which I appreciate if it was to help me. I am severely distraught, however, that Dr Ramin and his team never notified me that I had my bone cut.

A year after my surgery Dr Ramin diagnosed me with failed back pain surgery syndrome and offered a fusion which I declined.

Still in great pain trying to prevent a fusion.

“I’ve been a patient of Dr. Reiszadeh for over a year. When I needed a cervical fusion, he took the time to explain an alternative—disc replacement surgery. I was nervous about having neck surgery, but his patience and reassurance made all the difference.

After a few months, when the time came for surgery, I knew I had made the right choice. From the moment he stepped into my pre-op room, his confidence and compassion put me at ease. He was incredibly kind to my wife, answering all her questions and making sure she felt comfortable. He even gave us his personal cell number and texted her immediately after surgery to let her know it was a success and that I was doing well.

Dr. Reiszadeh truly goes above and beyond for his patients. His skill, care, and dedication are unmatched. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience and highly recommend him to anyone in need of spinal care.
