Dr. Royal and Jackie helped me with my back and neck. They were always available when I had questions and going to their office was like making a visit to a friends house. I still have excellent range of motion in my neck and lumbar spine after my fusions, and my life has improved as far as pain in those areas of my body. I recommend Dr. Roybal not just for his clinical experience and educational background, but because he listens to his patients. Thank you for all your help over the years.

Dr Roybal and his PA were amazing. They saw that I had been through almost every option before choosing to have neck surgery. The nurses took such good care of me before and after surgery. This has been a great choice for me and given me back some of my quality of life I had been missing. I had horrible migraines and daily headaches along with neck pain for three years. So far so good! Thank you to you and your amazing staff! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the aftercare when you get home is a little iffy. You get a pamphlet but there’s not much info so your kinda on your own to figure out how to sleep and how to get back up and moving on your own.

I have been to other Orthopedic Doctors. Chatham Orthopedic is by far the best that I’ve been to. I was treated with such great care during my surgery as well as my follow up visits. From my experience other Orthopedic offices are ok just to get you to agree to the service. However they don’t show you respect or give you the courtesy of updating your family of the progress during your procedure. I am so thankful for the surgery staff as well as Dr Roybal and his personal team. Thank you for everything that you have done to help me with my healing!

Recently my husband saw Dr. Roybal for his back. After speaking with him exploring what is the best for him my husband decided to go ahead with the surgery. Dr. Roybal and his staff made sure we was prepared by going to a class on what was going to take place on his surgery. He had his surgery a few days ago and came home the same day. His staff has checked in to see how he is doing . My husband has been up and walking doing what he was instructed to do he is pleased at his out come so far will come back and post again. Dr. Roybal and his P.A. are fantastic. My issue is with office staff and billing.The only thing I'll sat about the Dr and P.A. is that I do not feel they adequately explained my recovery period after my surgery. They said it would be a day procedure and I'd be walking out of the office afterwards. I found out AFTER my procedure that I would be missing four weeks of work, which threw my finances all out of whack. I feel that is something that they should have told me. I had multiple issues with the office staff, including a scheduled injection at hospital. Took a sick day, showed up at 7am, just to be told after waiting an hour, that my doctor was actually out of town and the scheduling was a mistake. Got a letter of apology and had to reschedule, take another sick day. Later, I had multiple issues with scheduling my surgery with having to talk to multiple people. Billing never called me about my anesthesiologist payment before my procedure as they stated they would, then double-billed me for an out of network doctor listed under a company i never heard of without my approval. They sent me two bills for 1200$ with two different doctor names for anesthesia, and I only met one before my surgery. After surgery my pain rerurned 2-3 months later, but cannot go in due to unpaid out-of-network bill. Huge hassle and frustration, and still in pain.

Every procedure(vertibrae fusion and decomprssion was my last one) and visit has be excellent with Dr. Roybal and his staff. Was seen shortly after I arrived and checked in. Every staff member was pleasant, friendly, and very professional. I cannot say more about the great service and visits I've had with Dr. Roybal. At my age, I've been to many Drs. my whole life and by far he has been the best Dr. I've ever been to!!!! Dr. Spellman, for pain management, is high up there also on the scale of very good Drs Ive ever had!!

I was a little late and I was still seen. (I called ahead first). The appointment employee was very nice, nurses are really, really nice, and the Doctor spent a good deal of time answering my questions and explaining future treatments or surgeries if needed. A really super great guy!

This is my 2nd round with Dr. Roybal and Chatman Ortho. Had disc surgery almost 10 yrs ago and they were awesome. Unfortunately, have begun having some nee problems so back for rd 2. Melissa was very thorough as always and takes the time to listen. She's outstanding! X-ray techs were awesome. This practice is top of the line! Highly recommend for anyone with Neck and or back problems.
