I have been a patient for some time now and even referred several family members because of the great service i received while in my braces. After my braces were removed and wore the retainer for sometime I voice my displeasure with my results and that’s when I was treated very rudely and like I was a bother. I felt this was a great place until the incident. I normally don’t do reviews but after visiting today and the doctor not going over my treatment plan with me and sending someone else in who spoke nothing about concerns of my teeth and what steps that were going to be taken to correct my issues but just about the fees I felt very disappointed…

My experience with Silver Smiles has been pleasant. Nothing to complain about really until today. I twice requested an appointment using their website to have another retainer made. When no one got back with me regarding my request, I called for an appointment. Their appointments are limited for impressions so I held off my start date for another job so I could have impressions made for my new retainer today. No one asked how long I had been without my retainer nor did anyone say that it would be best to see the doctor first to make a new retainer would be appropriate to move my teeth back to the correct positions. No one told me the retainer would not be a duplicate of my original one.

I just paid $200 for a retainer that only works for where my teeth are now. I explicitly said in my online request that the gap was coming back and I wanted the retainer so it would move the teeth back in the correct position. That's what I thought I was getting because no one told me that retainers made after the original one only work for the current position of your teeth, which does nothing if appliances need to be put back on to move the teeth back. Had I known, I would've kept my $200, seen the doctor first, and gone from there.

So, I've paid $200 to keep a gap that I had closed when I wore braces.

I feel so blessed to be here. I recently transferred care from another orthodontists office that did not take my teeth alignment seriously, but here at Silver Smiles they have been extremely professional, easy to communicate with, communicated with me my treatment plan and things they would like to change about my smile which I completely agree with. They changed out my attachments, started me on new trays, let me take all of my trays home, gave me a bag of everything I will need to care for my teeth, and gave me my confidence back. Their office is very clean, they have updated technology, it was soo easy to get an appointment here and to make a follow-up appointment, and the staff is so pleasant. I feel completely confident in Dr. Meagan and her staff and I am so happy they are a part of my teeth alignment journey. I have not had to wait long in the waiting room (less than 3 minutes each time) and each appointment has been hassle-free.

It’s always a pleasure when I go in for my adjustments. The entire office staff are always so kind. I remember when I first got my braces on I experienced a death in my family and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a condolences card in the mail. And everyone in the office wrote something kind and signed it. It brought me to tears. What business is doing that these days? Not many. It goes to show that they don’t just want your money but they actually care about you as a person. Honestly I’m in my 40’s and these are my 3rd set of braces (last time I promise) and Dr. Meagan is hands down the best orthodontist I’ve encountered. She’s always smiling and most of all she knows what she’s doing. I’m now at the end and my braces will be off in 2 months and I intentionally waited to review to see would the great customer service continue… AND IT DID! I highly recommend Silver Smiles for kids and adults. P.S. I am writing this review on my own 🙂

After the first two initial visits leaving a sour taste in my mouth (npi), I was scheduled to come in two weeks from my second appointment to have my braces corrected. I am grateful that after all the phone calls and emails that were made voicing my frustration with the lack of professionalism and accountability with my brackets, I was then placed in Abby’s care. She did a phenomenal job not only correcting every loose brackets that had came off, but even correcting the ones that she felt could have been positioned better. She was extremely pleasant and professional in her craft and was transparent about the entire process. I’m so glad that she took her time to make sure that they stayed on and that I was confident with them before leaving. While I do not expect for any office to be perfect, this type of professionalism is how I assume an office should operate with ratings as high as this one. After having my braces corrected, Abby gave me a call a few days later to inform me that my follow-up appointment would land on a week that she would not be in office, so we switched it to a day where she would be able to see me. It has been two weeks since my third visit and I am very satisfied with the correction. The last visit definitely made up for the first two and I am hoping that it’ll be easier through the remaining treatments.

Update: Dr. Meagan called me shortly after my review was posted and she was sympathetic and apologetic for the issues I had experienced. I am truly humbled and appreciative of the care and concern she exuded during our call. While I was aware that refinement was a possibility, I didn’t anticipate as many as four. Nevertheless, I am grateful for her willingness to listen to my concerns and make things right. Dr. Meagan offered to schedule a new visit this week so I wouldn’t have to wait additional weeks for what we both hope will be my last scan for my final set of trays. She even went as far as providing me her cell number to contact her directly if needed. I am very thankful for this outcome. Thank you, Dr. Meagan!

I started going to this Office roughly two years ago and every single visit i have had with them 2 years later were excellent. Great Customer Service, Awesome staff, really kind and helpful people, truly caring workers who actually interact and connect with their patients on personal levels. I started going to fix my Teeth and as of 11.28.2018 i got my braces off and my teeth are beautiful, I have gained so much confidence in my smile and I've overall had a wonderful experience. 10/10 Office, i recommend them to everyone i know. And to the entire Silver Smiles Staff a big thank you for everything you've done to asking how my day was to fixing my horrific teeth, i cannot express my gratitude enough.
