I’ve been coming here since I was very young and have always had a great experience. They guided me well through braces in junior high, retainers for many years, then through the process of my jaw surgery including getting braces the second time, going to the thickest wire and adding surgical hooks. They went over what I should expect before and after the surgery in detail, even included videos to make sure I understood. The entire staff is so kind and always makes my day. Now that I’ve finished my orthodontic surgery roughly a decade after I started, it was a bit bittersweet saying goodbye. And as a bonus, they give you a free cookie at the end of every visit!!!

The office was very nice, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Lots of cool things in the waiting area, like the arcade game and cappuccino machine, although there was very little wait time. Dr. Garrison was very nice and explained everything very well to me and my daughter. Even had fresh baked cookies for the kids! Very impressed!

First class treatment for my daughter. Pre-treatment started at age 10 and she just got her braces off at 15. So thankful we sought their advice and followed the treatment plan. I had two daughters (not twins) in braces at the same time. We are so glad we chose River Ridge Orthodontics for their care. They "know their stuff." They care and will listen to your concerns and work to resolve them. They have a great team (staff)! I like that they have a satellite location closer to where we live. They always print off a note for the school; it's great not having to ask for that nor get home without one! At the initial consultation, they explain different ways to pay, which helped the cost seem doable and not as overwhelming...so crucial! They dealt with insurance and made it easier on us as parents. My daughters are very happy about their NEW SMILES! THANK YOU TO ALL!

Please shop around for orthodontist in your area. We were recommended to River Ridge and could not be more UNhappy. We paid in full from the beginning, only to be threatened of more charges due to brackets falling off of our daughters braces (which is blamed on a new era of "glue changes"). We have polled numerous kids we see with braces from other providers, and they do not have the issues we have experienced at River Ridge. She had 4 brackets fall off within 24 hours! When we take her in, she is ridiculed for her eating or brushing habits being the cause!? The staff are not friendly and now I feel that I must accompany my child back to every appointment because I do not trust this provider to not continue the mental anguish and emotional abuse they have already done and further damage my daughters image of herself. She has had mouth injuries due to wires not being trimmed correctly, brackets continually falling off (even when going days without eating anything other than liquids) because of their harsh comments and poor professionalism. They harass our family with phone calls when one appointment was missed due to a family emergency. The whole reason of getting braces is to correct the "abnormal" teeth or provide aesthetically pleasing smiles for youth because they get "picked on". When the truth is, this place has showed the farthest from compassion or concerns on of these areas. When a bracket is broke they tell us to go months (come in at your next appointment in three to six months) with it dangling in my daughters mouth, causing sores and others to make fun of her!!!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, PICK ANOTHER PROVIDER!!!!

See response below, trying to minimize a families feelings when voicing their concern for others, they are using plausible deniability in order to appear helpful. I can understand ones intent. But you must realize it is not a communication issue, when I've simply explained how you have made us feel. Please take this recommendation seriously, as this is how they have made our entire family feel, instead of minimizing my concern with your comments of "my heart is getting squished" perhaps a formal apology and better business practice would suffice. Instead of blaming a 24 hour hardening process, find out why other providers seem to be more successful, or just simply do better. I have voiced my concerns with the orthodontist, the receptionist, and their staff, in person prior to posting a google review of our experience to give you/them that opportunity. Since it continues, I am backed into a corner and forced to lay my personal situations on "thick" and accurate because I was not given that foresight of a warning, and would like others to know not every patient here has a wonderful and blissful experience. The pain she was caused with wires and brackets was reported via an emergency line, and we were informed to wait. Now the pain has been more than physical. If you would like to change my opinion, then actions will speak far better than words. Instead of speaking out after the fact, I am trying to be proactive for others and subjecting myself. Hoping not to cause retaliation, but rather providing constructive criticism, as a provider you must be informed when you are not living up to the expectations you claim to offer.
