Dr Steven Rivers is caring and knowledgeable. He has been treating both my husband and myself for 8 years. Both of us have had significant health issues I.e. Heart, stroke, thyroid, blood pressure, urology problems and many others. Dr Rivers has been there treating us and referring us to specialist when needed. He is a wonderful man and a superb physician! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

As a patient of Dr. Dariano, I received a telephone call from her office at Rivers Family Medicine informing me that, due to health issues, my scheduled appointment in July would have to be rescheduled.

I told that an appointment was open on June 24th at 4:15 PM, with another physician in the practice. I accepted the change and went to my appointment at the Buenos Aires office.

The receptionist told me that my appointment was not for today, but was scheduled for October 2nd. When I told the receptionist that I had received a call from Rivers Family Medicine rescheduling me with another physician, she responded that no such appointment was shown on "her computer" other than October 2nd and that "no one told me that my appointment was rescheduled for June 24th."

I responded that I know what I was told on the phone call from last week and she would have no knowledge of what I was told as she was not on the call.

She then responded that no one told me that I had an appointment. Basically, the woman called me a LIAR.

Words ensued and I left, telling the receptionist and a lady that intervened that I would find me another primary care physician and left.

All the woman needed to say was that there had been a mistake made and to work with me to reschedule my appointment within the time frame of my original July appointment, and I would have had no problem.

Dr. Dariano has been an excellent physician and I have enjoyed her care for the past 4 years. However since she will no longer be able to be my primary care physician, there is no reason to continue at Rivers Family Medicine given the rudeness and gratuitous lying by a member of their staff.

I've been waiting for someone from Rivers Family Medicine to call me back about new patient appointments since Jan. 3, 2024 I've left voice mails which haven't been returned, and no one ever answers their phones. I'm starting to wonder if their office is a "front" for something else.

I saw Dr. Dariano as a new patient two times during March of 2021.Each visit lasted approximately 6 minutes during which time I was not asked any questions about my general health, diet, exercise, sleep, or mental state, in spite of the fact that I was in atrial fibrillation at the first visit. This was in sharp contrast to the 45 minutes my husband spent with his new doctor who asked a myriad of questions getting to know the state of his health. I am very disappointed and will look for another doctor who has some interest in me as a patient.

I just became a patient of Dr. Anthony Desmarais at RFM. I have been looking for a primary care doctor for years whom I trust, and I feel like I hit the jackpot. Wonderful facility, caring staff, and I am unbelievably impressed with Dr. Desmarais intelligence,, approach and knowledge. RFM has been a great experience for both my son and me.
