I cannot recommend Dr Kao or his office more highly. First, his front office is extremely nice and helpful, going above and beyond to fit me into his already busy schedule as a new patient.

Next, Dr. Kao is exactly what you want in a doctor-really smart and experienced, as well as compassionate and kind. He takes the time to answer all your questions, and as a patient, I could tell he really cared about me and getting to know me.

He is someone I would recommend to all my friends and family!!

As someone who had never done a procedure like this before, this was absolutely above and beyond. The staff and Dr. Kao are incredible. Very knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. I'm never going to a different gastroenterologist ever again!

Dr. Kao is friendly and professional. This is a good place to go for a colonoscopy, which is not a *fun* thing but an important thing. Scheduling and prep was unpleasant but very clear and well communicated.

My only gripe was that the prep nurse (who was cheerful and professional) honestly did a lousy job with the IV prep. Two days later I still have bruises on my arm from the failed insertions. Extremely painful! She was complementing me on my vein structure as she "fished around". Yikes.

Overall would definitely recommend this place for an otherwise unpleasant procedure as they are very professional and well-run. The doctor is great.

Dr. Kao is a highly skilled and experienced gastroenterologist who has provided my wife and me with excellent care for many years. We have seen several other gastroenterologists since the early 1990s, but none of them have come close to Dr. Kao's level of knowledge, professionalism, and kindness.

Dr. Kao has performed both colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures on us on several occasions, and we have always been very pleased with his care. He is a skilled and gentle surgeon, and he always takes the time to explain the procedures to us in a way that we can understand.

Dr. Kao is also a very compassionate doctor. He takes the time to listen to our concerns and answer our questions. He is always available to us, and he has always been willing to go the extra mile to help us.

We highly recommend Dr. Kao to anyone who is looking for a gastroenterologist. He is a true asset to the medical community.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to Dr. Kao. He took great care of my son and had a lot of patience and compassion towards him. He gave him reasurance and ease his pain. My son was very anxious,scared,and in a lot of pain when he walked in his office. Dr. Kao treated his Gi issue and my son left with a big smile on his face knowing he was going to be ok.

I was referred to DR. Kao by my general Doctor ,since my previous Dr. David Shield, retired. He welcomed me as if I had known him forever! Very attentive and thorough. I am very grateful for his patience with me. He started speaking Italian, my native language so I felt right at home.

My experiences with Dr Kao and his entire staff has always been positive. Office staff is friendly and helpful, the staff in the procedure area are welcoming, competent and I feel comfortable and assured that I am in good hands. The office is very modern and always organized and clean.

As for Dr. Kao, he always takes all the time needed to ask and answer my questions and concerns and provides detailed information and directions in a manner that is easy to understand. I know that he listens, hears, understands and addresses my concerns and handles each completely and professionally
