I would honestly give this office a zero if possible. I was seen as a new patient one week ago and the doctor has still not called in my asthma prescriptions. I have called every day this week to ask about the prescriptions and each time the woman at the front desk has been dismissive and rude. The last time I called she told me that the doctor is inundated with sick patients... I cannot comprehend what would possibly prevent a doctor from providing his patient with prescriptions for over one week (his office is closed for the holiday so now I will have to go another weekend without my medication). I’m so incredibly frustrated and disgusted. There is absolutely no bedside manner at this doctors office, the staff and the doctor could obviously care less about the health, safety and wellness of their patients. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT.

Dr. Wardak is an excellent physician. He is surround by a very hard working and passionate staff. I appreciate everything he and his staff have done for my daughter and I. He is one of the few doctors that really cares.

I am never satisfied going into the office and seeing that scowling Mexican woman with her bitter voice as she speaks. Front desk people are to be friendly, courteous, and professional. I have even talked to this very same woman on the phone and she is the same way. She is rude and it reflects poorly on Wardak's office.

Staff is very rude and condescending and the concern for the patient is absent.

BACKGROUND:
July 2 my brother in law as injured from a severe fall. For a couple of weeks he ignored the pain until. The pain became unbearable and we took him to Sutter hospital. That day he was diagnosed with a severe shoulder separation by Sutter Emergency Doctors and was immediately referred to a surgeon who was later determined to not covered under his medical insurance. The doctors suggested he quickly get a surgeon to perform the necessary repair before it heals incorrectly.

Dr. Wardak was assigned to my brother in law prior to the injury by the government system. According to the insurance company, Dr. Wardak would need to refer him to a specialist.

Our first encounter with his staff was met with sharpness when answering questions. They attempted to postpone the initial appoint 60 days even after explaining the dire situation. After learning from the insurance company that the law states they must see an emergency case within 10 days and us calling them back to confront the fact, the scheduled the appointment 10 days from the call.

On the day of the appointment they simply told him to get an xray in Yuba and to get blood work done. This made no sense to us since the hospital already had the xrays they needed and the blood work they requested. Regardless we obliged.

Upon completion of the bloodwork and x rays we notified them. We begged nicely that they expedite the interpretation of the x ray and referral to the specialist to mitigate his severe pain he has undergone for many days now.

Today we learned the staff scheduled him out for another appointment on August 24 (15 days in the future) for doctor Wardak to provide the interpretation of the x rays. The problem is we already know the diagnosis from the hospital's physician: it is a severe shoulder separation. According to hospital physicians, it is imperative for him to be referred to a specialist at once.

We are fairly certain the only reason for the repetitive appointments is to obtain as much money as possible from patient visits. It is clear from their lack of concern and more importantly the tone of the staff that they care not for the patient. Specifically, staff (Cindy) on more than one occasion demeaned our intelligence in a condescending way.

This is not made up. We have the voice recordings of the most recent conversations. According to my brother in law, they hung up on him twice today when he pressed them for a sooner appointment.

My brother in law said, he'll be requesting a change and reporting the incident.

I had a triple bypass Dr Wardak was kind enough to add me to his already full schedule. He's conciderate and listens then gives an honest opinion. I like his approach and bedside manner. P.s. don't come here if you expect to dictate what drugs you need. I'll continue to see him.
