I stopped by to pick up a couple of products for my girl , she’s been coming to Sally’s for many years, also to the stores in Pomona and Upland.First off I want to mention they have great customer service. Alondra the young lady that was working, was courteous and friendly, and knew her products. This store in Rowland Heights is fairly big with lots of items. I’m sure one can find their products for their hair needs. They have different specialties that one can use,like a licensed colorist. There’s plenty of parking with the handicap stalls close by.

🚫DO NOT GO HERE 🚫 HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXCUSES
Decided to not bleach my hair and color it with my friend on January 5th. The items are unopened and I’ve bought them in the beginning of January. I searched online for their return policy and the website stated “you must have an original receipt dated within 60 days of purchase for a refund or exchange. All refunds will be made to the original for of payment.”. I contacted 3 TIMES and the same woman had different excuses:

1/15 Wednesday: “We have a new store policy where our manager has to process refunds. Our manger should be here Sunday 10 am-6pm
1/26 Sunday: “Our manager here on Sundays? She’s on vacation. She’ll be here tomorrow on Monday at 9 am-10 pm. You can call the store beforehand to see if she’s here beforehand.”
1/27 Monday at 2:13 pm (on phone call): “Our manager is on “medical leave”. You can return to another store with the receipt?

Honestly…this is so unprofessional. The lady on the phone was the same lady i’ve seen 2 times with black hair and glasses. What do you mean your manager is on “vacation” on Sunday then suddenly on “medical leave” the next day?. I’m 100% sure they just don’t want to accept returns even though it’s store policy. I called the La Puente location and they said they were able to accept any returns for 60 days as long as they’re not ‘scissors or brushes’. I’m going to go there later. Hopefully they can accept my return.

⚠️ edit: i forgot to add in 2022, the checkout lady asked my mom and I for a SSN in order to get a rewards card or sally’s card… that was really suspicious and shady to ask…

ONCE AGAIN. DO NOT go to this location. They will gaslight and make excuses.

I actually rarely shop at Sally’s beauty but I think I’ll come more often to this location. When I went there last month there was a really nice young lady that helped me I forgot her name but she had really cool hair and glasses and was super sweet she recommended some amazing products for my hair and nails that were affordable and great quality and so far I have not been disappointed with the products she recommended! I love them she deserves a raise or something she’s amazing and knows her products definitely will be coming more often! 🙂 I hope she is there next time I go!

Stopped by yesterday to grab more hair dye and to ask about color remover at store #584. I was greeted by the staff Jasmine & Melanie, and they were quick to help me with my questions.

Keep in mind I haven’t been to Sally’s since before the pandemic, so I did have a lot of questions. Luckily they were SUPER patient & helpful. They showed me products they heard were great and helped me choose out hair health maintenance items that were 4 for $20. Typically when I go to beauty/makeup stores, the staff usually seem cold but these girls were so friendly and informative. Not only that, there was a lady who came in and caused a scene about a product & it’s price……the girls handled it so well and tried to help her to the best of their ability. After observing the rude lady leaving, I could tell the girls were so mature and remained kind during the situation.

These girls are great, I will be coming back! Thank you Melanie & Jasmine!

Horrible, this Asian looking Short Chubby Woman STEALS FROM CUSTOMERS "BEWARE", she doesn't respect the sales posted for the products, I went there on Saturday they had the "buy 1 get 1 free" Sale on some products,she wanted to charge for 2 instead of 1 pretending not knowing come on! Dont you read the signs everywhere? The other lady working there had to tell her I was right! I got charged for only 1 with bad attitude of course (she didnt get away with it ).Monday came back ,got diferent products same special , she pretended "Again" not knowing and was charging me for 2 , when I asked for the sale posted through out the store she resfused to charge me for only 1 product argumenting that if I didn't apply for a Sally's card I wasnt able to get the special" WHAT That was a TOTAL LIE since i was there 2 days before and its nowhere mention.That's called STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS" Sallys gives those discounts for us costumers not for employes who play with the register and take costumers money so they're the ones taking those products for free ,of course I walked out drove 8 min to a Sally's on Hacienda blvd and got the same special no questions ask. To bad for Sallys having an employe like this Ugly Woman, people like this gives bad reputation to the company.
