I have been going to Dr. O’Heron for many, many years. I've never sat with a doctor who takes the time to listen and make sure I understand what is going on with my body. She is by far the most knowledgeable and attentive doctor I've ever seen. I've been to other doctors who make me feel like I'm just a number. They rush through appointments without explaining what is going on with me. When I visit with Dr. O'Heron, I feel like I'm with a friend that I can talk to openly and honestly. I always leave with a better understanding of my health. She is simply the best!!!

2nd REVIEW.....
I'd like to add about a recent visit. With my ever so changing body now that I am over 50, I was so worried about the changes I was going through....As I sat in my appointment with Dr. O'Heron, I was quickly put at ease and made to feel so much more comfortable. She has a way of making me feel that with each change I am experiencing, there is a solution. I've never had the type of care where I really feel I am visiting with a friend as I mentioned in my last review. I think it is so important to have a great relationship with your doctor and one with such a high level of expertise. I highly recommend Dr. O'Heron, she truly is awesome!

I'm a retired, registered nurse. Comobidity of trigeminal Neuralgia, heart issues, as well as everything that goes with age. Also diagnosed with PTSD after years of poor treatment from the medical profession. Dr. O'Heron has helped change my life/health for the better. While nothing can be done about my TN, she has helped me with everything else. Got the right tests for my heart, helped through menopause with the Votiva procedure, looks for less expensive treatments. She is a medical professional that cares. Tests are done right in her office. Thank you, Dr. O'Heron!

Dr. O'Heron displays egregious bedside manners. When I voiced dissatisfaction for wait times exceeding an hour for scheduled appointments, Dr. O'Heron stated treating patients is her job, not customer service. Don't expect your time or concerns to be treated with respect at this practice. Do not recommend!

I think about my experiences at this office every now and then even though I haven't been going there for a few years. I read someone else's review that said it took them years to finally change doctors--same here. I don't know what it was, but if I was seen by Dr. O'Heron I would leave feeling ashamed for some reason. If I was seen by a nurse practitioner, I was fine. My first couple visits I saw her as empathetic and patient-centered. It changed after awhile and I could hear the judgment in her voice--mostly about lifestyle and medication choices. It's not stuff I have hard evidence for, just condescending energy. She managed to tap in to insecurities I was hardly even aware I had. Bottom line: I kinda hated it there.

Everyone is different--if you go there and you like it, great. I just want to remind everyone: you have choices. You have a say in your medical care. You're allowed to ask questions and you're allowed to disagree with the answers.

I have been seeing Dr. O'Heron for 16 years and she is a wonderful doctor. She has shown how caring and concerned she is about my health. She takes the time I need to go over things with me and to answer all of my questions. I trust the decisions she makes about my health and the advice that she gives me. I'm getting ready to move to another state and that is one of the big frustrating factors about moving for me - is that I can't take Dr. O'Heron with me. I have highly recommended her to many family members and friends, of which many have begun seeing her as their doctor.

She hurt me badly during the placement of an IUD (which she apparently broke during insertion) and then was cruel to me afterwards when I almost passed out from the pain. It literally took me 14 years to be willing to go to another gynecologist after my experience with her, and I was still so traumatized that I had a panic attack before seeing a new doc. Avoid Dr O'Heron like the plague!

I could go and on and on. But I'll start with the staff. They provides the worst customer service ever. I tried complaining and the office manager, Amanda, but that didn't help. The office manager, Amanda, hires her "friends children and family" and makes excuses for how they mistreat the patients and its like she condones it. And Dr. O'Heron...smh The way she talks to her patients and how she made me feel is totally unacceptable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE OR ANYTHING! PLEASE RECONSIDER BEFORE YOU MAKE THIS DECISION.
