Our experience with Dr Chris and his staff was top notch! My daughter started going to Square One in Fort Collins in November of 2023 after a scoliosis diagnosis from our primary care physician. Receiving that diagnosis was scary because we didn't know much about it and looking things up on the Internet can make things feel even scarier.
Upon meeting Dr. Chris, he quickly put our fears to rest explaining that there are new treatments to help reverse scoliosis while children are still growing! That's when he explained the ScoliBrace and how that could help our daughter. We were able to take x-rays and measurements the same day to get started! Time is the most precious commodity when treating scoliosis while still growing, so we were grateful that we could move forward quickly. He showed us the x-rays in office and explained how the ScoliBrace worked. They even had a ScoliBrace my daughter could look at, touch and feel to see how it might work for her. Dr. Chris even recommended some groups we could join so my daughter could connect with other children like her who are going through similar treatments.
Dr. Chris then explained how physical therapy is another element that could help in the process of correcting scoliosis. My daughter did 8 weeks of physical therapy when she first started wearing her ScoliBrace to help in her correction. The staff was always so helpful in explaining all of the exercises! There were times where additional items were needed to help in her corrections and physical therapy at home, like a foam board and things of that nature. It was so convenient that they had those items in office! The staff always seemed to find a way to make physical therapy fun for my daughter, I really appreciated that. I would often times hear her laughing with the staff. As a parent I appreciated the staff's ability to make my daughters appointments something she not only enjoyed, but that she looked forward too.
The front staff were always helpful in scheduling appointments, explaining financial obligations and offering a friendly smile when entering the office.
My daughter recently started weaning out of her ScoliBrace as x-rays showed she is done growing. It was so exciting to see the correction the ScoliBrace made! The rotation in her spine has completely corrected and the degree of her S curve has drastically reduced!! Dr. Chris recommended a few physical therapy sessions after she stopped wearing her brace to help strengthen her core and for her to learn exercises to help keep her in this corrected position. He is confident she should not have regression and that is the exact reason why we decided to move forward with the treatment of the ScoliBrace!
Overall our experience was fantastic and we would highly recommend Dr. Chris and his staff at Square One!!

I've had my ScoliBrace for not quite two months, so I can't speak to long-term results right now. I'm 70 years old, and my goal in getting it was to improve my spinal health. Over time, I have developed adult-onset scoliosis, osteoporosis, and a hunched-over posture, causing some mild backaches. I also lifted a heavy box into my car a year ago, which caused a compression fracture of the vertebra at the most curved part of my scoliosis, putting further pressure on the vertebrae on either side of it.

So far, I've been really happy with the brace. On the first day, it felt awkward, to say the least. But after just 1.5 hours of wear that day, I could feel the difference. For 2+ hours after taking it off, I felt taller and could tell that my posture was improved. Over the next week, I got fully accustomed to the brace, moving pretty quickly up to 6+ hours a day. I now wear it 7- 8 hours a day, and when I'm not wearing it, my posture stays improved and I look better, even in passive moments when I'm not thinking about standing straight. I continue to feel confident that it's doing what I hoped it would do: improve my posture and take pressure off my spine, reducing the chance of further deterioration. I'm really glad I decided to get it, just wish I'd had the opportunity years ago!

As a fellow chiropractor at Gateway Family Chiropractic, I've collaborated with Dr. Gubles for over a decade and have always known him to be an exceptional practitioner with a profound understanding of scoliosis management. His new clinic, ScoliCare in Westminster, is an excellent resource for those in need of specialized scoliosis bracing. I've referred several patients with severe, non-improving scoliosis to Dr. Gubles, and his expertise in bracing has consistently led to outstanding outcomes. His professionalism and dedication to patient care are commendable. I highly recommend ScoliCare for anyone seeking expert scoliosis treatment.

As a mom of 2 daughters with scoliosis, I highly recommend Dr Chris and his staff. When they say they specialize in ScoliBrace & ScoliExercise, they go above & beyond in start to finish care. We went into his clinic just hoping for something better than the future forecasted by our pediatrician. The treatment isn’t easy- it’s not a pill, or a one time quick fix treatment. But I can tell you confidently, following Dr Chris’s ScoliCare treatment plan will be worth your hard work. Both of my daughter’s rotation & curvature in their spine has significantly decreased. They don’t live in constant pain either. Dr Chris & ScoliCare needs to be your 1st choice for treatment.

Dr. Chris and the staff at Square One in Fort Collins are great! I went in about 6 months ago to start treatment for Scoliosis; a condition I’ve had since childhood. I feared the curvature was or could become worse. Dr Chris fitted me with a custom made brace and I have both at home exercises, as well as clinic visits to strengthen, straighten and elongate the spine. I have found everyone in the office to be very supportive and encouraging. I highly recommend Dr. Chris and Square One!

I had lost hope that anything or anyone was going to address my aches and pain. Another chiropractor I saw recommended Dr. Chris. He's a smart guy who knows spines. He created a personalized treatment plan, that includes a ScoliBrace, Pt treatments (traction, decompression), simple exercises at home and regular chiropractic adjustments. There has been a noticeable shift in my spondylolythesis and overall posture. It takes time, and a commitment to follow the treatment plan. I was committed. I stand taller, I feel better and finally have hope that I can overcome any life that includes pain.
