My visit with Dr Brady was excellent. I’m thankful for the detailed care that I received. It’s a blessing to be able to maintain having Dr Brady as my Primary Care Doctor even though I’ve moved to Florida. It’s good to have an “anchor” who knows me!

Went to SGMC outpatient lab. to get test ordered by Dr. Moreno. Was told there were no orders in the computer. So, I went to Valdosta Medical Clinic to see if they had orders and they had no orders either. They told if I could wait until Dr. Moreno's staff came in around 8 AM they could get them then so I waited about 20 minutes and they put the orders in the computer. Apparently someone in the office had not put the orders in the computer when Dr. Moreno told me he had ordered in May.

We had just been there eight days earlier. These Medicare appointments need to coincide with regular visits or be done over a computer. We know the drill, we had just recited our meds, been weighed and had our oxygen levels and blood pressures taken. All of that can be done on internet apps. We can answer the "are you being abused or are you depressed" questions online. It would be good for you to have a social worker on staff to offer resources to patients who need housing or other referrals. Greater Valdosta United Way can tell you about food and housing and mental health resources. I know it gets you a few hundred dollars from Medicare, but it could be done without the aggravation of our having to come to your office to get the info.

Dr Bailey is Wonderful but the front desk can leave very much to be desired. I came back approximately 2 or 3 hours after my visit & they had already given me a sample of the Dexcom G7 @ my appt (it was put on properly the way instructed). I told them that the sensor was not good or right. And it told me as far as the app to take it off and replace it because it was not functioning properly. They said sorry we don’t have anymore. I saw they had several of them when the nurse first gave me the original one. I said what am I supposed to do because now I have to wait on a PA to hopefully go through. They said I don’t know sorry call Dexcom. I did and they can’t. The front staff needs to be compassionate (bed side manor). Left a message for the nurse.
