I have been a patient of Dr. Ross’s for well over a decade. She is beyond proficient. I cannot imagine a gastroenterologist more diligent and caring than Dr. Ross. I consider it an honor and blessing to be a patient in her practice.

Dr. S. Ross gives excellent care, very professional and attentive. I have been her patient for 10 years, and have had 2 colonoscopies. I am very impressed and have a high level of trust. I find the admin fee of $500 to be a good investment for the quality received.

I had two colonoscopies with Dr Ross over the past 13 years...she took Medicare, was courteous and pleasant, though very aloof. When I made an appointment for the next one, I was told I had to pay $500 "administrative fee" or the office would not bill Medicare. She said she wanted to "get to know her patients better..." - How do you do that, when you see them one hour every 5-7 years? I thought it was offensive and patronizing, and during a pandemic when people can't work, she wanted to line her pockets. I cancelled immediately and told them how I felt. No response. If you're very wealthy, go right ahead, she is a good doctor, however, if you're middle class or struggling, don't waste your $500.00 while she gets rich off you.

I went for a follow up and about 3/4 of the way through the exam a nurse comes in to inform me that now doctor Ross is charging $500 additional for medicare patients because it is too much paperwork for her to do. I declined to pay that and I asked to speak to the doctor and told her I felt that that was really not the right way to handle it, to wait till after the appointment was so far in and she then said to me "well then she won't take medicare". Very unprofessional. Is it even legal for doctors to bill medicare and secondary insurance and demand additional payment from the , I wonder.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ross for many years, my husband as well. I have a lot of respect for her, the way she condact her business. She spends time with her patients and "really" talks to them. I never felt rushed no matter what we talked about. She's an excellent physician. I agree that there is a wait in the office during the appointment time, but that's a small price to pay, in my opinion.

Have had two colonoscopies with Dr. Ross. In contrast to reviews below, I found her to be extremely thorough in the preliminary consultations, - caring, thoughtful and the consummate professional. Her staff was extremely nice, competent and insurance questions were answered up front. The process itself was very easy. She recommends a two part cleansing method with plenty of time allowed to down a few glasses of Gatorade - much, much easier than the method of downing all that liquid in one try. Really easy - just need an afternoon and evening to allow nature to take its course. The colonoscopy itself is painless. Her follow-up explanation of the results was thorough and timely,. All-in-all a positive experience. Highly recommend - especially to anyone with anxiety having the procedure.

I had a similar experience as Emily. I had been to Dr. Ross in the past for a colonoscopy so I thought nothing about going to her again - BIG MISTAKE! I was not informed until the morning I arrived at the surgical center that Dr., Ross AND the surgical center no longer accepted my insurance. What was I to do? I had scheduled the 2 days off from work - 1 for cleansing and 1 for the procedure. I had already gone through the awful process of cleansing and was in the paper robe at this point. $3,000 bill was a big hit. Dr. Ross as a doctor is fine but her bill practices border on unethical.Such a shame!
