I came here to get my wisdom teeth extracted and it was quick and painless. Everyone in the office is nice and friendly. They give you plenty of post-care instructions and followed up with me later that day as well as the next day to make sure I was ok and to see if I had any questions. Overall I couldn’t imagine a better experience.

Went there for a Wisdom tooth extraction everyone there was very friendly. I was very nervous as this was my first surgery, but the staff there made me feel safe and less anxious. When the oral surgeon went to extract the teeth he was very quick and didn't have any issues pulling them out. I will continue to go back here if I need more oral surgery in the future and recommend anyone who feels anxious to come here because you’ll have a great experience. Thank you Soundview for giving me a great experience. Please if you’re as nervous as I was please go here to get them done.

Our experience at Soundview was exceptional! My son needed his tooth extracted and was extremely nervous. We had been to 2 other dentists and attempted the procedure 3 times before coming here. Even though my son was still nervous, they were extremely patient and understanding with him. We were finally able to get the tooth out! Not only were they super accommodating, but there was almost no wait time. I would definitely recommend them!

I chose to have all 4 wisdom teeth extracted here at the behest of a friend. I paid out of pocket because they don’t accept Medicare; that’s how highly recommended this practice came to me. I was very nervous about the procedure and to ensure I received top notch care and aftercare I paid $3,300 rather than hunt for a surgeon who takes state insurance.
I’m incredibly upset by the aftercare experience (or lack thereof). I had my surgery done on a Friday morning; when my partner went to pick up my prescriptions (pain medication and antibiotics), only the antibiotics had been called in. The practice gave him the runaround, saying the doctor had left for the weekend and nothing could be done until Monday. Furthermore, after the surgery I was told by Joy the nurse (?) she would call me from her cell phone on Saturday to check in and see how the first 24 hours went. I waited raptly for her phone call; I had questions about swelling, prolonged numbness, the pain medication, and the dissolvable stitches. I was unable to ask these questions immediately after surgery because I was obviously loopy. By 8 pm I gave up hope and figured she would call me the next day; nope! Calling the practice got me nowhere; their answering service informed me I could not speak to anyone until Monday. I spent all weekend in pain and in the dark. Monday morning I called the practice right when they opened. I got ahold of Joy, who told me she would ask the doctor to call in my medication (three days later) and she would call me back in 10 minutes. Ten minutes went by. Then twenty. Then forty. After an hour of waiting I called the practice back, to be informed that she was in surgery and that’s why she was unable to call me back. Okay, then why give me false hope? My pharmacy eventually called me to tell me my prescription was ready, but I never received a phone call back from Joy or anyone at the practice. One of my stitches came out 48 hours after surgery; is this normal? Do I need to be seen? I have no way of knowing because apparently this is a practice that has no interest in following up with patients once they have your money.
One final complaint; my “preparing for surgery” paperwork plainly said that patients need to have a ride to and from surgery. If undergoing general anesthesia, the driver needs to remain in the waiting room the the duration of the surgery. I was not undergoing general anesthesia, I was administered laughing gas and Xanax prior to the procedure. When I arrived for my surgery I was dropped off by my partner while he ran errands until it was time to pick me up. I was then informed they would not proceed until my escort was in the waiting room. That seems like something I should have been informed of before surgery; I couldn’t get ahold of my partner (because he was driving) and had to call a friend to come sit in the waiting room until I was done.
All in all the lack of organization and follow up seems very concerning to me. I’m glad so many people had positive experiences here, but I would never in good conscience suggest anyone come here. I would think that spending $3,300 with your practice would warrant returning a phone call, but I guess not.

Just had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed there. They were extremely attentive to my comfort before, during, and after my surgery. Very thorough on what I should expect. They let me choose my method of sedation (Xanax prior to surgery joined by laughing gas during it), allowed me to bring my own music to listen to with earbuds, and even gave me a blanket when I got cold.

The staff were all pleasant to speak to, they were all so nice and made my experience very positive. This is coming from someone who has an anxiety disorder that's exacerbated by dental visits. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs oral surgery!

I don’t recommend going here to get your wisdom teeth removed at all! It was the worst experience ever because the medication to calm me down didn’t work along with the IV they didn’t have anymore options that I know of they weren’t very helpful. The only person nice to me was the receptionist. Before starting the procedure in the back I did ask for my teeth to kept and they “forgot” to give them to me. Please consider looking into a different place for teeth removal.

I needed a tooth extracted and my dentist sent me to Dr. Sanfilippo. Both he and his staff are very welcoming with everyone having a good sense of humor. His skill was exceptional and while nobody wants to have a tooth extracted, it could not have been made any easier.

I was/am afraid of the dentist; hence why I needed to see Dr. Ross Sanfilippo and his team, for oral surgery.
Dr. Sanfilippo & his team are wonderful. They all went out of there way to ensure I felt at ease & comfortable , through the whole process. For someone like me who is afraid of the dentist, I strongly recommend Dr. Sanfilippo and his team, for your dental “surgery or implants”. FIVE STARS!!!!
