Very friendly staff, and my visit with Dr. Merritt was very easy and comfortable. He is extremely personable and makes you feel completely at ease, does an excellent job of explaining your issues, and delivers his care in a gentle and painless manner. I had my first appointment with Dr. Merritt today and he was stellar! His knowledge, bedside manners and professionalism was top notch! He fixed me right up and sent me on my way. The shots didn't even hurt! I highly recommend him! The office staff was great as well! What a wonderful experience!

I was blown away by the treatment I received at Tallahassee Podiatry Associates, and if you don’t want to read this long review, just know I highly recommend them and I’m so glad I chose them as my provider for foot care. First, I cold-called the office to see if they were taking new patients, and the young man that I spoke to on the phone was so friendly and personable. He answered all of my questions and was so kind and treated me like I was the only person calling (he was patient and took his time to make sure I was comfortable and all set). Upon arriving at the office, they were insanely busy. The waiting room was completely full and there was a huge line at the front desk. I didn’t have to wait long to check in, and again, the office staff treated me with patience, personalized attention, like I was the only person there. I don’t know how they are able to keep their calm, individual attention and patience in tact for every single patient when it was so busy in there! I was called back at my appointment time (on time!) and the sweet nurse took my X-rays and got me set up in a room. Dr. Alvarez came in almost immediately (again, no waiting!) and he was FANTASTIC. I knew that I was his last patient of the day, and he could have rushed me to get me out of there so he could go home, but he didn’t. He took time to listen to me, didn’t make me feel crazy or like I was over-exaggerating or overreacting about my foot pain. He stayed to talk with me quite awhile and looked over my X-rays with me in detail. He also answered all of my questions, and he asked me questions about other components of my medical history that might impact my foot health. He was incredible, and I really wish all doctors were as thorough, kind, professional, and respectful as he was. I felt like he genuinely cared about me, even though it was the first time we met. The same nurse came back in and fit me for a boot, and again, she was so sweet and helped me learn how to use the boot and answered my questions with patience and kindness. My entire experience here was fantastic. I never once felt rushed, I never felt like I wasn’t being heard, and I left the office feeling really good about my care. Whoever is in charge here has clearly fostered a positive culture for their employees, and has done a phenomenal job. You can tell the employees are happy because of the way it trickles down to the patients. I’ve lived in Tallahassee for 25+ years and have never experienced a doctors office this great.

Dr. Nichols, Katie, Leanne… And everybody that’s in this office are awesome! They are all very warm, welcoming and make you feel like they care! They listen and take the time to be sure you have all the answers you need. Truly amidst the busyness of their office I always feel like I’m the only patient they have to take care of! In a world that’s so fast pace it’s very refreshing to be taken care of by people that genuinely care and do what’s in your best interest and not theirs! Thank you!

Amazing experience! Called for an urgent case for my 16 year old he had a major in grown toenail. The lady who answered the phone was so nice, patient and caring. She got us in the same day. The nurse and doctor will as great as well. We walked out with my son’s toe fixed up! Thank you!

My appointment was at 3 in the afternoon. I sat in the waiting area for over an hour and a half without hearing my name called. When I went to the front desk to make sure I was actually in the queue, I was informed I had one more person in front of me. They were polite about it but no one offered an explanation or apologized like it was out of the ordinary. They did willingly give me a refund when I requested. My advice is this, do not go here if you have other obligations or time constraints in your life. I'm sure they are great doctors but they clearly extremely overbook themselves.

Abbie has been so helpful during my recovery. She’s quick to answer my texts whenever I need something. I hope stays forever, because we need more people like her . & Also Katie is so nice! She’s there when I have any questions.
