Let me start by saying that Dr. Poole gets 5 stars and this review does not include her...
My child has seen Dr. Poole since she was born. She is an amazing Dr. That being said i hate the way that the sick appointments are handled. You have to call the day that you need to be seen and just pray that they have an appointment still available. Start calling at 8am just to be put on hold for 8 min to be told unfortunately all of our sick appointments have been booked but if you want you can take your child to the urgent care. First of all if I wanted to take her to urgent care everytime she is sick, whats the point in having a primary pediatrician. Doesn't make any since to me. And what happened to making next day appointments? I guess in those 8 minutes I spent on hold, all 3 office locations booked up somehow. I just don't understand. I will definitely miss Dr. Poole, but I think it's time to find another pediatrician.

I highly recommend Tanner Healthcare for Children, especially Dr. Coleman. From our first visit, we felt welcomed by the friendly and professional staff. Dr. Coleman is exceptional—she listens carefully, explains everything thoroughly, and shows genuine care for her patients. Her compassion and expertise make every visit stress-free. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and efficiently run. We are grateful to have such a dedicated pediatrician for our child. Thank you, Dr. Coleman and team, for your outstanding care!

I called to get my children established! The lady that answered the phone asked if my kids were vaccinated. I said no, they are exempt for religious reasons. She told me that this is a vaccinating office and that my kids can not be seen! I have never heard of this nor known it to be ethical to turn away someone for religious reasons. I will definitely be doing some more research on the matter. Has this happened to anyone else…ever?

My son has pneumonia and the ER had referred me here. I called to make an appointment and she pretty much told me no. That they need previous records to schedule it. Ummm can we not do that at the appt? This seemed to be a very important appt according to the er. I guess the dr office, not so much! She was pretty rude to say the least, which I can normally deal with, except my "very sick" child just needs to be seen. West care it is...🙄

Possibly the worst one so far. We normally see 3:16, but I was desperate for my child to be seen cause of how well he hadn’t been feeling, so I made an appt but they failed to tell me for 1. I couldn’t see them if I had seen 3:16 regularly, 2. My child had to be caught up on ALL his vaccines (even the ones I do NOT find necessary) 3. I waited for an hour just for them to tell me all this at the end while Dr Charva Poole refused to see him. Some “Doctor” I’d never trust her with my kid and I’ll be telling others the same thing! We will continue seeing 3:16 Family Medicine as they are the BEST! So if you need a good pediatrician I would stay far away from Poole and TMG in Villa Rica for sure when it comes to your kids.

Love Tanner for Children. Nurse Nancy and Doctor Colden were amazing today. Going above and beyond to cheer my son up, distract him when he was due for vaccines and provides us education and resources that went beyond todays needs. Giving us general parenting ideas and encouragement too. Felt like they really cared. Grateful to have such kind providers close by. All the other nurses and doctors my children have been seen by are also wonderful.

Moved to the area from out of state and refused to see my daughter who I had to take off work for and take her out of day care. Avoid this place at all cost. At least tell people that you need something before we waste our time going. We had to find another facility that would actually see my daughter. What broken policy do you have ?

Tanner healthcare for children has the most ridiculous scheduling I've ever seen, calling the day of to schedule an appointment makes no sense, obviously everyone's calling at the same time, that's the reason your left on hold for so long. I'm on hold now trying to schedule an appointment. I've been trying to schedule an appointment for two days. I will be taken my child to the urgent care at this point and I will be switching health care providers. Someone needs to change the scheduling policy. Update: I just made an appointment with the urgent care with no problem and no waiting on hold. For those of you that need your child seen urgently I recommend going to your nearest urgent care if it's something non emergency.
