I used to love this hospital and now I cannot stand it. I went in because I had been violently throwing up for 3 days, fever, and I was dizzy, couldn’t even hold water down, I had abnormal labs, an abnormal EKG, and my blood sugar was high. They got me back relatively quick to hook me up to an EKG and draw blood. They told me they were gonna sit me in Hallway 21. Which is basically you sitting at the very end of the hallway, away from the nurses. Sitting right next to the security guard room.
There is no call button if you have an emergency or need help. You’re not hooked up to anything so god forbid you end up having a heart attack or something, no one would know.
I sat in the hospital for 4 hours before they finally gave me the nausea medicine they said they would give me the moment I walked in. Then I sat for another 2 hours to be told “it could be morning sickness”
They didn’t do an ultrasound to confirm that my baby was okay. Despite the fact I was honest about my 4 recent miscarriages.

Then a day and a half later when I finally can get out of bed to get to the pharmacy. Found out they never sent my medication to the pharmacy either.

Don’t go here. Georgias healthcare system is a nightmare. I’m now on day 4-5 of not eating or drinking and vomiting every 10 minutes.

I now need to go to ANOTHER hospital, and drive over an hour away because the only two hospitals in paulding county are vile.

Very first time I was transferred by ambulance too Tanner medical. I will have to say I had the best medical attention anyone could ever ask for. The staff was well organized the doctors were phenomenal. I would recommend Tanner medical to anybody. The ambulance driver and technician for Metro Atlanta ambulance made the decision to go to Tanner rather then WellStar and I think that's what saved my life

This is the worst hospital there is, I'm here now hallway 21. my mom came here first night she was in a room, then next morning she went for dialysis that's when they kicked her out and put her in the hallway she didn't even know till she got back. Day nurses are all right but God forbid if you ask for something they get attitude and take forever getting back to you with anything that you need. I give this place no stars. The nurses need more compassion for others needs I'm sleeping in chairs and they wonder why I have such attitude

I had a fair experience at Tanner Villa Rica. Everybody was kind except the nurses on the 2pm shift 11/18/24. They are rude especially the black nurse who didn't do nothing but talk about patients the whole time I was there. When I left, I knew patients illness and chart, as if i work there. What happened to privacy and confidentiality. I shouldn't know about a young lady cyst on her ovaries that burst. Sad. If they weren't so busy walking and talking or on their phones, patients can leave at a decent time, especially the blonde in the tight scrubs. The best experience was Justin, the radiologist,who is such a kind, passionate and loving individual that went beyond the call of duty.

This place is a joke!! They treated my mom horribly the last 2 times she was there. She was there the last week of October and November 17-20. The nurses are unprofessional and rude!! They lie for each other as well. Tanner do better!! I would give negative 0 stars if I could!!! Horrible service. They need a whole new crew. The nurses treat her differently when a family member is up there. As soon as she’s by herself they treat her horribly!!

Very very excellent care given by the staff in Emer Department at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica to me this past week.
They were professional, courteous and caring. Highly highly recommend them should you need them.
