I went to Dr Bowles for a tooth problem. I noticed he had gone to school at Texas Tech. My mother had been having some health issues and 2 different pulmonologists said there findings were inconclusive. I talked to Dr Bowles about our problem. He felt they should have more answers and why did they want to try again. I asked if it was him or someone in his family where would he go?
His answer surprised me, If it is cancer, M.D.Anderson or a lung issues UT Southwestern. I asked why? His answer was, they are the best at what they do. Sure enough, lung Dr got in. Cleaned up an infection eliminated a bad cough. Unfortunately he found an aggressive cancer in the top of the lung. I asked the lung doctor why the other doctors couldn’t find this? His answer was a standard scope would have a hard time getting in the area. Unfortunately the 2 other pulmonologists, if they were straight forward like Dr Bowles, we could have found this 4 years earlier.
I would like to thank Dr Bowles for taking care of more than just my tooth problem.

From a no fault car wreck, I had a cracked molar get infected. Dr Bowles accommodated my need for a removal same day.

The staff and his hygienists are great. Dr Bowles is excellent. Describing what’s happened. The procedure and my tasks in post op.

Because of their professionalism, my post op went “as fragged”. No problems.

Doctor is great. Most staff is great except for Chelsea at the front desk and Jessie (billing) is the doctor’s wife. The front desk is just rude. Billing is the absolute worst I've ever encountered. Jessie Bowles will not return my numerous calls. It took 4 months for her to file a claim the insurance company would pay. She billed my medical insurance in February for Digestive Surgery (I had a tooth pulled) using incorrect codes on most of 9 charges totaling 1,946.00. That is insurance fraud. Thankfully they didn't pay. She would never return my calls and hasn't to this day so I can't even ask her why she did that. Unfortunately, the claim my insurance paid included a 260.00 x-ray. When they told me I needed this "special" x-ray, I gave them the same x-ray on CD the referring surgeon from the prior week took (he told me they may need one and to provide this to them). The technician took the CD and had to ask Jessie if they could accept it. The technician told me they would perform the x-ray using their machine, but I would not be charged for it. Well, they billed insurance and insurance paid 50%. They may or may not ask me for the other 50% but regardless, insurance paid 50% and that is the same as me paying since my policy has a 1,500.00 maximum. I could have used that on the implant I still need. She also tried to bill insurance for 2 office visits but retracted and just billed for one. I even question that since it was nowhere on the "pre-treatment estimate". Speaking of the pre-treatment estimate, the reason they didn't file for so long is because my insurance (they are "in-network") asked for a narrative. I was told the insurance company was being ridiculous. I was stuck in the middle. In Network provider being asked for additional information but they refused to provide it. My insurance company tried for 2 months to get the information to no avail. It baffles me why Jessie would never return my calls. I even sent her a PM on Facebook simply asking her to contact me so I could understand what the issues were. She didn't reply but she blocked me on Facebook. Is this how a professional does business? I don't think so. Everything stated in this review is fully backed up with documentation/proof. I don't take writing such an inflammatory review lightly. I would discourage anyone from ever using this dentist.

Dr. Bowles, and his staff, are excellent. I have had some nightmare experiences with pain medication and he and his staff listened to my history and I will tell you, not only did I wake up pain free from my surgery, but no bad reactions and not sickness. They are super kind and understanding. Dr. Bowles is the absolute best in any dental experience I’ve ever had. Also loved that his nurse, Jessie, had no problems find a vein and that has been a problem for me in the past. Thanks guys! You are the best!

So I had an impossible case. I went to several oral surgeons and everyone told me that my wisdom teeth needed to come out, but NO ONE WANTED To take them out. They would tell me that if I did remove them that I would have a 98% chance of getting facially paralyzed, and would be unable to speak. So I flew from Kittery, Maine to Texas and Dr Bowles worked Magic! I came out of surgery with no nerve damage at all. I couldn’t be more grateful to him and his team for working with me. This is not to say that every experience will be the same because teeth and nerves are all unique but I will say that this man and his team will do his absolute best to give you the best outcome possible no matter your current situation.

Absolutely can not say enough good things about Dr Bowles and his staff. They exceeded all of my expectations. During and after the procedure. I was able to text the nurse with questions days after surgery and she always responded in a timely fashion. Nothing fun about having your wisdom teeth removed but they made it a great experience. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks for everything.

Doctor Bowles and his staff are top notch medical professionals. Not only did I receive excellent care, but Doctor Bowles has successfully treated me for a chronic and very serious disease I have had for over a year. I went through unsuccessful treatments and misdiagnoses at three other doctors before I landed here. I am finally healed from the osteomyelitis which has been spreading in my facial bones. I feel the decisions he made were spot on. He was conservative when possible and aggressive when necessary regarding the infection. He never rushed me, he answered all of my questions, and he was diligent to get me the appropriate treatment. I felt comfortable at every visit. On a personal note, when a person is dealing with a significant health issue, never underestimate the power a simple touch on the shoulder conveys to make you feel like you are more than just an appointment. That simple act helped set my mind at ease during a very difficult time. The nursing staff is excellent! They are easy to talk to and great at what they do. I can’t say enough good things about this staff. I was under Doctor Bowles' care for longer than six months. Do not hesitate to put yourself under the care of this doctor and his staff, they are very competent and down to earth. I highly recommend them.

Dr bowl came to our life as reflection of a god.I found tumor in my jaw two years before.we are confused and terrified one of our dentist recommended dr bowl to us.he did our tumor surgery and later second surgery he did bone draft and surgery went good and he take care us like his own family and not as a doctor during my surgery my wife told me he call us in the 5:00 am in the morning and asked how I m doning.after his busy schedule he came to see me after 9:00 pm.it doesn’t matter day or night he always there for me.Jessi mam also always supported us during my surgery.and all the staff are best!I highly recommend dr bowls.thank you very much for all you did to me!!

Where to begin. I'll start with the receptionist mainly both of them were amazing very patient and kind nobody likes paperwork especially while in pain. Derris made the paperwork painless and fast moving. Moving to the back for consultation, as a man who doesn't like doctors or being in any kind of facility like such, all staff was able to put my mind to ease. Moving on to surgery the same day. The nurse who administered anesthesia had some of the easiest hands I've seen, not a bruise one on injection site. Now to Doctor Bowles.. two days after surgery I'm in minimum pain even with stitches in the mouth. A true master of his craft. This is my first Google review but I felt strongly enough to the staff and doc to write this. And I will never go anywhere else.
