I went to Mobile Athletic, after strong recommendations from my colleagues, regarding my chronic shoulder issues. I was due for an MRI and a surgical consult but went to have it assessed first by Mobile Athlete. Shawn was great in getting me in and understanding my issue and doing a detailed exam to find out the issues with my body mechanics. He put me on a regular program not just addressing my shoulder issues but also my spine and hip mobility which was affecting other areas. Chris and Shawn are very knowledgeable about the human anatomy, function and mechanics. At every appointment, they address my previous and new concerns and provide tailored mobility exercises to do under their supervision and there after at home. Two months into the program my shoulder pain has been alleviated 90%. I am now getting back to routine over head lifts. Shawn and Chris have pin pointed other issues which have helped me in the gym with mobility and strength. I continue to see them to improve my body mechanics and would highly recommend them!

Just what I needed! When my back spasm rolled into its sixth week instead of resolving in few days, I knew I needed to take some action. After an MRI and a referral to a surgeon, I wanted my first option to not be the knife. I'll save that for later. Rolling into my 70th year, I also knew I needed more than a quick fix for my back. I found it at The Mobile Athlete. My back resolved after the first few visits (remember, results may vary!) I stayed to develop a tailored exercise program that focuses on my whole body. Significantly more strength, flexibility and better balance after 5 months! Last week I found myself having to change a bathroom fixture located in an awkward position. Six months ago I wouldn't have tried it, but my increased leg strength made it easy! Sometimes you do get want you want AND what you need. Thanks Shawn and Eric!

I came to the Mobile Athlete on a referral from my physician, I injured my knee and didn’t like the diagnosis the knee and joint place gave me which was knee replacement. Dr. Shawn met with me and put my knee through an exam and decided on a stretch and exercise routine and in two weeks i went from playing golf in pain to playing golf with very little pain. My knee is now about 95% after two months and a shoulder injury I sustained and have dealt with for 4 months is now about 80% healed after only two weeks of therapy on it. I couldn’t be happier to find someone to finally give me the help I needed and actually cure my problems. You don’t have to suffer anymore help is at The Mobile Athlete

Dr. Shawn and Dr. Chris are two of the best doctors that have truly helped me, and made my quality of life better. I came to them with chronic back pain from military service. It has been ongoing for years. Their approach to care, personal plans, and actually caring about you and your progress is something that I have never found before. I have gone to other larger companies in the physical therapy realm for years. I made more progress with Dr. Chris after a few visits than I ever did after years at other places. They truly care about you and your goals. They help you reach your goals with approaches that actually work and help you to move and feel better. Ive had double knee replacement surgery and I’m an avid Pickleball player.Since my surgery there has been a serious imbalance between my right and left leg. I am an ultra-runner and I started going to The Mobile Athlete after having problems with my IT band on long runs. Shawn and Chris helped me pinpoint exactly where my weaknesses were that were contributing to the problem. They then helped me heal the pain and came up with a plan to get stronger so that the issue would not be recurring. We are in the process of working through that plan. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a PT that not only wants to help you heal but also wants to stop the problem from coming back. They care about me and my goals and work specifically with athletes. I have gone to a local generic PT and the level of service is nowhere near the same. I cannot thank them enough for all of their knowledge and help.

I’ve been experiencing extreme knee pain for the last six months or so. Pain that I know I don’t have to live with. I started my PT journey with Shawn at The Mobile Athlete at the beginning of this month and am already experiencing relief. He is incredibly thorough, very knowledgeable and also very supportive/encouraging in the process. I am confident that I will experience full relief if I stay in the process combined with the momentum that I am getting from my time spent there! He is helping me to learn and trust my body while also giving me tools to use on my own and teaching me how to best put them to use. I’ve never done physical therapy before and I had a different idea of what it would look like. This is a very thorough approach and really is helping me get at the root of the issue. Yes it is an investment but one worth making. Definitely book a consultation, even if you’re on the fence! I promise you won’t regret it. Shawn and Shannon are an awesome duo! Katie is also super helpful in the booking process and helping make it work for you which has been so helpful for me as a working mom. All around, great experience. The space is also brand new, very clean and well done! If you’re considering PT, here is your encouragement to do so from someone who is IN it now and to do it with them. Best investment to your long term health!
