Had FAI on my right hip with torn labrum during my college basketball years in 2008. Marc operated on it then and now 15 years later feels brand new and so grateful I did this the natural way then have to get hip replacement in future.

My left hip labrum tore even worse snowboarding in 2023 and he just operated on left hip about 10 months after injury.

2 weeks out of surgery left hip feels great and so glad after physical therapy in a few months, I can live life without restrictions and work out any way I want to now.

Thanks to Dr. Phillipon, Mark Ryan, Sean, Jenna from PT and the whole team there. Everyone was amazing!

I was out of state and they made the process super smooth, and were very educational before making the decision on both surgeries.

Dr. Philippon did a labral revision surgery on my hip this past June, and I have had such a great experience with him and his team. Dr. P and his whole team are extremely knowledgeable and thorough. They always gave clear explanations and instructions, and they were extremely good at staying in touch throughout the rehabilitation process. When I hit bumps in the recovery process, him and his team was very quick to respond and provide direction on how to get my recovery back on track. I have to get a labral repair on my other hip next year and I will absolutely be returning to Dr. Philippon for that!

I had labral tears in my left hip repaired in December 2021. I also had a similar procedure in January 2019. The first one was more serious and took longer to recover, but this time I was able to PRE-hab much harder and the result has been a much faster recovery. Amazingly I have not needed any pain meds either time. I've also had multiple knee surgeries at a local hospital and they went fine, but the level of care at Steadman Clinic with Dr. Philippon and his crew is just amazing. I would love to put a review of every staff member on here and thank them individually, but I'm afraid I would miss someone. Not one of them stands out because they are all TOP NOTCH. I have never felt this level of care anywhere else.

Make no mistake surgery is surgery; I had a pretty bad case of FAI and although I got away without any pain meds the recovery process was full of up's and down's.

I was an out-of-state patient; logistically the team has it down. All my clinic visits were on time, everyone I saw was professional and "on the same page" about my case. This made the whole process stress-free and streamlined.

I am 6 months post-op and feeling great, my whole structure feels balanced again. There is a whole process the body goes through in order to readjust back to a wholesome structure and that takes time.

I am happy I chose to do the surgery and I am happy I chose to do it here. Super grateful to the whole team. Thanks Guys!

When a family member had a labral tear I unhesitatingly took her to him for treatment. She required several operations on both hips over several years. She did very well, went on to play college sports and now five years later has never had any pain or loss of function. He is also compassionate and a gentleman. His clinic provides personalized care and his staff is excellent. I refer patients to him regularly and all have done well. I am forever grateful to him.

Three years after the surgery in my opinion. Avoid surgery if possible!!! I you are not 100% sure you need it. Recovery is brutal. I am not sure I am better three years in. I am having lots of stabbing pain, some worst than before. ?
