My mom is a patient of Dr. Gardener. I switched over to him from another local doctor and I couldn’t be happier. He shows concern, knowledge and works with you to find a reasonable solution. My mom is close to 90 with a complicated health history So being her physician is not always easy. I would recommend Dr. Garner highly.

Dr.Garner is by far the best primary CARE doctor I’ve had. And when when I empathize the word care it’s because he actually cares about his patients. It’s not a two minute appointment, he’s not rushing out the door, he’s not just prescribing a quick fix. He’s a let’s get to the bottom of this kind of doctor. Let’s go see a specialist and see what they kind find out if he can’t help or it’s outside his spectrum. I can not applaud enough for how amazing this doctor is. I just wish there were many more like him. He actually sits down and listens to ALL of your problems! Doesn’t matter if it’s 30 minutes. He’s going to sit and listen. I love Dr.Garner! And you will too if you haven’t made him your primary CARE doctor! Thank you again Dr.Garner you are an amazing human being and this world needs many more like you. Thank you for caring about me.

I might be able to give a positive review if my husband and I could ever get past the incompetence of whoever schedules appointments at this practice and actually see Dr. Garner. My husband had an appointment today as a new patient at 3:30. When I made the appointment, I did so when I was there seeing my own doctor. I was told by the front desk he should be there at 3pm. We arrived at 2:40 and were told the appointment was for 1:30 and we would need to reschedule. The woman at the desk was dismissive and unconcerned. I see another doctor in this practice and have had 2 schedule mixups for my own appointments, driving all the way in from Ellabell and told my appointment isn't today and made to feel like I am in the wrong. We didn't get the typical robo call a day or two in advance so I should have wondered why and admittedly, I didn't. We have been waiting 6 weeks for this appointment, and I did call a few weeks back to see if Dr. Garner could see him sooner and I explained he has a history of a stroke 6 years ago and is now having blood pressure issues and has some kind of concerning mass on one of his testicles. I was told, no, you need to wait. So we did, only to show up today get treated like something off the bottom of your shoe. Now we have to find another doctor and wait more weeks hoping he doesn't stroke out in the meantime from high blood pressure or a malignant tumor we can't get anybody to look at. We are having a hard time finding a doctor that is taking new patients. He took today off from work and was so angry, he wouldn't go back to this practice. I am leaving this review not to disparage Dr. Garner, but this scheduling issue with staff is turning people away and causing way more than mere inconvenience. I am done with this practice.

I have been in Dr Garner's care for over 5 years. I am a generally healthy person, with little need for special care. However over the past year, my health situation changed. During this time, I found Dr Garner to be unresponsive to health messages through MyChart. The same was true when I called the office directly and left messages requesting return communication. When I returned to his office for a follow up visit, he did not remember the nature of my visit or my name. While I understand he has many patients, I would assume that he takes time to review a chart. In addition, I had been in his office for several scheduled visits over the course of 4-5 months (prior to the scheduled follow up) related to the issue. At the follow-up visit, he assured me that there was no further need for concern or additional testing. At the end of the day, it is important to note that the issue did not resolve. I was thankfully referred to a specialist, through another doctor and I am grateful for his thorough care. I am currently awaiting the results from pathology for a biopsy that should have occurred last year according to all the professionals I have spoke with in my recent care. If you have need of routine care alone, Dr. Garner is a nice fellow. If you need a doctor who is responsive, thorough, and communicative, he is not your man. I will not be returning to Dr Garner.
**Update: I have since been diagnosed with cancer. Shame on Dr Garner for his complacent response to my medical care.

THIS OFFICE HAS EXTREMELY BAD INTERNAL OFFICE COMMUNICATION ISSUES.
I requested some medication assistance, had an appointment scheduled. No communication with Pharmacists. REALLY BAD DOCTORS OFFICE.

Would like to share my experience @ Memorial Health . From the time you walk into the building you are greeted with professional front office ladies they are so polite and professional, I was called me back within 5 minutes:) I thought to myself teamwork! the young lady that brought me to my room was also very professional and polite, her name was Rebecca she is Dr.Garners nurse. Just a few minutes later Dr.Garner came in , and he listened to me and then asked me questions and had solutions . I found Dr. Garner to be very Professional and cares for his patients , I’m Proud to say he’s my Doctor! Teamwork is what I noticed from my visits , They work together so well you don’t know who the leader is ! If your looking for a Great Doctor and staff look no further!

I’m a new patient with long medical history, Dr Garner took the time to ask about it all. I felt like he was listening. We talked about concerns and offered help for specialists. All in all a good experience . Staff was very nice as well.
