Highly recommend Tia! Amazing customer service. Being at Tia makes me feel safe and cared about. Switching my healthcare to Tia feels amazing! The entire team at the Silverlake location were invested and involved in ensuring that I understand my results, and labs. Efficient follow up and follow through. I feel cared about. They increased the membership fee by $5 per month in 2025 (already an absolutely ridiculous concept given how expensive and inaccessible healthcare is in this country without added junk fees) but are simultaneously running a promotion offering a free year of membership to new subscribers. Of course, existing patients can't cancel and re-sign up to get the same discount, because they don't matter. Clearly, subscriptions, not real care are the priority here.

Chat responses are often delayed and unhelpful, and trying to get information about costs of service ahead of time is overly difficult (especially given the freaking membership fee). I have also run into a situation where I have specified exactly what I am seeking treatment for in their chat in order to ensure I make the correct type of appointment. Then, I go to the appointment I was told to make by Tia and the provider tells me they can't actually help with my issue at all and I've essentially wasted my time (and possibly money) by even showing up. That provider also told me he would help connect me with someone else at Tia who could help me, which ended up being a lie. (Weeks and several chat responses later, it turns out Tia can't help with the condition at all, despite it being something relatively common that is impacting my daily life and functioning).

In-office care is very hit and miss, and the one time I tried to use their telehealth, I was literally paying to watch a doctor read AI results to me off of Google (and was then prescribed an ineffectively low dose of my medication). Providers are always nice enough, but that doesn't make up for lack of results. It also seems that most of their providers are nurse practioners and not doctors. Their annual exams are also a joke, because if you have any specific health concerns you want to address during that appointment, you have to then make a second appointment to do so (so they can bill you more!). Beyond that, 'Whole Health Provider' only seems to apply if you can spend money freely and are unwell in the right way.

I first started using Tia in 2023 and have sought care for a number of specific issues/conditions so far. Of those, only 1 has been helped at all by Tia's care and I'm out hundreds of dollars either way. (Plus additional thousands wasted on physical therapy and specialists I have been referred to). More often than not, any concerns I bring to appointments are not adequately addressed or I am told that Tia cannot treat them at all (and any 'referrals' they provide are never to providers in network with my insurance, which is more or less pointless).

That apparently some of their appointments/services are in-network with my insurance while many others are not is also overly confusing and a barrier to care. To make matters worse, trying to figure out which appointments are in-network and which aren't is like pulling teeth. And of-course, the membership fee is the same regardless of what percentage of their services are actually in-network for you. I regularly question my membership and wish I could cancel, but I cannot currently face the difficulty of finding a new pcp and gynecologist.

Lastly, if privacy and/or the evils/inaccuracies of AI are at all a concern to you, know that at least some of their providers use AI to take in-appointment notes.

Appointment happy without helping. I followed their advice and kept making appointments for various micro issues. I never felt like my issues were addressed and I got no help- I was just encouraged to make more appointments.
The last straw was when I was told I needed to go in for an appointment and I took off work, waited in the waiting room and then when I went back to the room I was told that I already had the and I didn’t need to do it again.
I have tried to reach out to the team multiple times to share my experiences but no one has gotten back to me. I do keep getting bills for the 7 appointments in 4 months. I cancelled my membership and do not trust them with my health.
They have done a great job with the office design and cute robes and tea selection but it is too messy for my healthcare. Be careful.

I have recommended a few friends and it's because I feel heard and understood at every appointment. It's focused on woman's health and that fosters such a safe space. Offices are beautiful and calming. Staff (specifically Silverlake team) are always so hospitable! I feel like I've improved so much with the help of Tia. From psychiatry (Dr.McManus is AMAZING) to getting doctors referral to have time off due to Covid. I can't speak more highly of this company.

I love this place. Never before have I actually looked forward to a doctor’s appointment but Tia makes it such a pleasant experience. The office is very clean but still warm and comfortable and feels like a safe space. Providers really listen to your concerns and seem like they actually care that you are comfortable and feel heard. They express zero judgment and in fact more so show compassion and understanding. It’s easy to make appointments online, and I’ve never had to wait long to get in to see someone. 10/10 recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about Tia Healthcare. I have been coming here & using this service for about 2 years now and I truly wish I always had access to this level of care. I love the chat feature to communicate before & after appointments. Coming in to their office is always such a lovely experience as well, especially with the Recess beverages and silky robes they provide. The doctors & nurses I’ve worked with have all been great listeners and have all offered nothing but kindness & compassion in their service.

This experience for my annual exam was very pleasant. I felt very comfortable, and this was by far the most gentle exam that I have ever received from a gynecologist. Also, the results for testing came back so quickly they messaged me on the app as soon as they were available, and I still have access to all my lab results that I can pull up and Forward or email at any time. The response time is also amazing. I was able to book an appointment so quickly, and I love how open and honest my doctor was with me. It felt very welcoming, and I recommend this to any woman living in Los Angeles.

Just started going here after getting on my work health insurance. So far I’ve had an incredible experience. I’ve seen Kate, and Samantha and both have been so patient and helpful in this process, as I have doctors office anxiety. Every nurse has been very kind and Brandy is hands down the best at drawing blood of anyone I’ve ever had. She calms you down, cracks jokes, and picks up on any anxiety and nerves and tries her best to remedy it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who gets nervous or intimidated by doctors offices!
