I went to St. Joe's ER with severe epigastric pain.  I am a 79 y/o male and was admitted.  Dr. Tony diagnosed the problem as a pathological gall bladder and confirmed his diagnosis with a CT scan and MRI.  Other physical complications  in my gut and heart made this a very difficult operation,  He was able to successfully remove it after four hours and was able to avoid me needing to go "out-of-area."  He is a very talented surgeon who is honest and straightforward.  He is very busy in the hospital but during the follow-up session in the clinic he was able to fully explain details of the procedure and future expectations. Our community is lucky to have him here and I strongly recommend him.  JIm D.

Dr. Anagnostou (aka Dr. Tony) was my surgeon recently, and I can highly recommend him. What I so very much appreciated was the clarity with which he explained my upcoming surgery and the post operative meeting where he discussed the results. He even drew a diagram to illustrate! Best of all, at the end of each appointment he always asked me if I had any questions. In addition, his staff has been very helpful and friendly which makes a big diference when you have serious medical issues.

I went to Dr. Tony with acid reflux and a hiatal hernia, miserable! He and his staff were AMAZING! They started with a conservative approach, and when that didn't work we opted for surgery. Throughout the entire process and afterwards, my husband and I were well-informed of our options and the processes.
