La peor experiencia he pasado gracias a UCHealt por parte del personal de trabajo social. Y al departamento de salud mental: Yan Simone, solicite ayuda medica para dormir debido a mi condición PTSD y DMD desde hace tres meses y no recibi ningún apoyo en ello y eso desencadenó en crisis de salud mental. Y gracias a ellos ahora estoy recluida en un centro psiquiátrico en contra de mi voluntad y sigo sin recibir el apoyo medico para dormir. Alejada 4 horas de las pocas personas que aprecio y sin opción alguna.

The reason for the one star which I would rather give 0 stars is for the lack of available wheelchairs for use. Everything is either in use or patient transport and it's a 20-30 minute wait if not over 1-2 hours.

I asked if there was an available wheelchair that I could use for my dad as his knees are not as what they used to be and a nice lady was about to say yes as another gentleman, older, had told me no. I would have to go back up to floor 4 where the physical therapy area is and told me to ask the people on that floor to borrow one as getting the next available wheelchair will be a 20-30 minute wait. That is unacceptable.

Every time we come in for my dad's physical therapy appointment, that's the same response we get.

Last week, my dad waited over 30 minutes for patient transport and nobody showed up. Patient transport was called during his appointment at 10:00 AM and him and my mom had waited over 30-40 minutes with nobody showing up.

This kind of wait is unacceptable

I just busted into tears as I watched a recording of my daughters childbirth. It was amazing and the triage team of midwife and nurses were so special. The encouragement and support they gave me through delivery was so awesome. I was tired, my daughter was in distress with the umbilical cord around her neck , and this midwife was soo comfortable and calm and personal and that gave me strength. Now my daughter is 7 . I don't know how it took so long for me to appreciate them, but I just want you all to know how the midwifes at uchealth anschtz are. . Thank you

Husband had extensive back surgery and put in Nuerosciences ward, floor 7. Patient care was very poor. We had to ask as family for every washcloth, fresh gown, towel, papertowel, help washing, toothpaste, personal cleaning items. No one asked if he'd like to wash, needed to wash or shower, brush his teeth, wash his bumm. RNs good on meds.
Bed alarms on any movement caused nurses snd aids to be irritable. Basically, do not expect you or your loved one to move while healing.
No foresight on surgery sight swelling as in I had to request ice packs or they did not appear.

When they took him for walks they didn't have the decency or respect of another human being to TIE AND COVER his gown to keep his bumm and surgery sight covered!! I witnessed this several times and did it for him and wrote it on the board.

The surgeon was awesome. Surgery in take team awesome. Once we got back to inpatient it failed. I can only imagine other patients with surgeries and no family and the lack of care they received. I stayed 2 more days than was supposed to due to my concern for his care.

One excuse from a nursing assistant was '"there's only one of me". Is it short staffed? Is it lack of proper patient care protocol? Why is personal care void here? Is it lack of accountability for staff or management? Something is not right here. Do not leave your family member without a family patient advocate watching for your loved one. I should have left on Thursday and Friday but felt so uncomfortable I
changed my schedule and stayed 2 more day. His home is 6 hours away and had arranged for hospital to keep him til Monday until his sister flying in could come pick him up. The bed Monitors kept going off so they THREATENED him they were going to kick him out!!! He's had back surgery that he can't get comfortable so Monitors go off!!
What a nightmare.

Why does the hospital smell of human waste? In the room thru the vents mostly. Nothing in the bathroom but always a waft of stink.

It is one of the best hospitals I've been to. They took great care of me while I was a patient. Every staff member that I came into contact with was very helpful and empathetic. Kudos to everyone at this hospital.

In 2019 I watched my friend Quentin die as his organs shut down one by one, you guys made him comfortable.

You also saved my girlfriend's life it was a very difficult time but we got through it. Thanks to the staff on the 9th floor.

Heart broken. As a family of four generations we were obligated to divide and Wait in waiting room to meet the baby. I say I’m heartbroken because we wanted to be together as a family and all meet the baby at the same time and take a picture being the grandmother wanted to share the special moment of seeing my own mother hold my granddaughter, the fact that she is the great grandmother . It was four adults and two children. It was grandpa and grandpa, which is me. It was their aunt. It was great grandma and the two children are the two big brothers which are under nine years old. Absolutely. Ridiculous. Why couldn’t the four adults go in with two children? And of course, I know. We can take pictures and meet the baby later on and different time But come on you don’t do that to families! We missed out on seeing our grandsons reaction I. Meeting their baby sister! And, my mom’s reaction to her new great-daughter. That’s besides ugly attitudes. It’s horrifying to even ask a question. The women’s care center front desk nurses eating in front of you taking their time in answering and making you feel a Keats for interrupting their snack?

This post is strictly about the valet parking. Every time I show up the parking garage is a full, so i chooses to valet. It should be convenient but instead it’s definitely un organized. For example we have four or five guys standing around, 8-10 cars that hav n’t been moved. Probably 10 cars, another 15 cars behind me 90% of the valet attendants are rude, unhelpful and cuss a lot.
There are 4 lanes yet they only use one? Why have four lanes? I’m no valet expert but shouldn’t the 2 inside lanes before ppl valeting cars to get to their appointments? The third lane for ppl picking up their cars and the outside lane for thru traffic?

I love this hospital, they saved my life. But their valet needs work!
