If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! The worst utility company I have ever dealt with in my life!! How can you be charged for something with no breakdown When you go up there management can’t provide any explanations as to what your bill breakdown is, usage breakdown, etc!!!! Water meter was changed with NO NOTIFICATION claiming it is on their contractor and they cannot notify us never heard of this lol. So we are supposed to trust a meter that was changed that could possibly be faulty…… Getting a large bill to pay and told oh well you just have to pay it? How is this even legal?!?! THE WORST!!!!!! No one ever answers the phone in the office claiming they are understaffed, something needs to be done IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!! Expecting people to pay a large bill with no explanation is absolutely ridiculous and illegal to a point. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!

My water was turn off for non payment, I understand that it was my fault. In 8 years this only happened to me once. They tell you to call for reconnection, and it can take up to 24hrs, but I paid by 4 pm called for 20 minutes no answer, sent to answering machine talked to no one, the next morning 8 am started calling I called all day up until 3:45 left several messages. I had to leave work early to go there face to face to get reconnection confirmation. And was told it was high volume calls that’s why I couldn’t get them on the phone, they may have turned volume down because it wasn’t ringing when I was in there for 10 mins and it will be another day to connect 48 hrs. It’s sad when you have other peoples have your faith in their hands when they could care less about what’s going on with your utilities. Union city needs to hire ppl who care about what they’are doing, because clearly they don’t and will not make things happen when they can because they’re holding that ball in their hands.

This is the absolute worst city agency that I’ve ever dealt with after living in five different states. Union City Water department is unprofessional, overpriced water and will in error Cut your water off without so much as an apology. I purchased my home in Union City 20 years ago and cannot wait to sell the same home to get out of Union City.

The cost involve purchasing water from Union City is like living in hell! I don’t understand these people and I don’t think they understand themselves.

This place is the absolute worst if I could give a 0 rating I would. They should actually be a -0 just terrible!

I just moved here, set up my water before moving, and they still turned it off, i dont understand why? no online help or phone help, im going up to the office in person first thing in the morning but....im very disappointed, just treat people howbyou want to be treated its not that difficult

This is the worst service in the worst city!!!
We have been on the reconnection list for two days an no one has been out water still off but they got they money! This s ridiculous. How you don’t kno where your service techs at? I hate when my people (black)are the problem! They don’t give af!

Called because workers can't get water on representative phone on auto 5 minutes at a time then hang up....public work don't answer phone I'm out of water, already a hour.. no one to call tho...automation system even for emergencies 🤔

After calling several times about not receiving a bill no one never answered the phone. My husband went to the office the next day on the 19th to see where's our bill and the amount. Union City system was down so they were unable to make payments or give us an amount. They blamed billing on the post office not delivering the statements. Several people were there also complaining. By the way our bill was the highest we've had in 17yrs.

Union City water company is the worse water company I've ever dealt with. They sit in the office not answering the phone letting it go to an automated message. As well as they are quick to send someone to cut your water off, but take all day to turn it on. Saying someone 18 or older has to be home when they turn it back on,but nobody is home when they turn it iff. Missing a whole day of work because they could careless about their customers
