Let me start with … We were triaged - so we knew it would take a while.
My husband’s right little finger got pinched in the carriage of the wood splitter. He had exposed ligaments and bone.
Outstanding staff, courteous and professional. The Nurse Practitioner explained what he was going to do prior to and follow up procedure. 19 stitches later he was put back together again. We Highly recommend this ER♥️ 05-06-2024

I can not say I would normally rate 5 stars but in this case I am. After several trips to ER with a dear friend with no results we finally met met a fantastic doctor! Dr. Williams was amazing, very knowledgeable, caring and determined to find a solution. She did! Thank you so much. He's home a much better!

2nd time I have been to the ER in 3 years. First time major kidney issue.
This past time sinus infection that was so bad and so painful. My dr is out of town so I went originally to Hillside walk in. They were great, however the next day I was no better, vomiting and in major pain. Swollen face and eyes. I called and they said go to Er.
Kyle was the PA. He never examined me . Stood in the doorway and talked all the while he was making a clicking grinding noise with his mouth. I did understand I was getting a steroid shot and antibiotics shot. He left.
Got the shots and now I’m in serious pain
my face and head hurt so bad. Finally the assistant came in and I ask her if he was going to give me anything for pain. She came back with a pill, I picked it up to take and ask what it was. She said ibuprofen. Well I have that and had been taking it. Is that all they can do for me, I was crying and in so much pain, she left, I sat there waiting for Kyle to come in. He nor she ever did, so I walked around the corner and the assistant is just sitting at her desk, I ask to see Kyle, she said he was busy to go back to my room. I’m very upset.
Kyle come back in and says he cannot help
me with the pain, I ask him about the
antibiotics I was supposed to take and he said I told you they were called in ti the pharmacy. He never said that. Long story short, I did not feel he was professional at all to be working in the ER with sick people, He has no bedside manner. Both times I’ve had emergency treatment have been terrible. I expect more.

My wife’s hand had swollen up badly, for no obvious reason. Very painful.

We are familiar with the triage process, so we were patient with the fact that several hours went by before we were seen. They finally x-rayed her hand. Shortly afterward someone came by the exam room to draw blood. My wife expressed concern about being poked with needles before having been examined. She said she would prefer to wait and hear the reason first. The very polite technician fully understood and said she would be back.

Maybe 30 minutes later some guy named Mike or Michael came by and bluntly confronted my wife about the delay on the blood draw. He actually seemed to be personally offended by her decision. He even accused her of refusing the blood draw, which we clarified was not the case. He then bluntly announced that he was going to discharge her over that.

Never even examined her hand.

She told him she didn’t understand why he was being so defensive. I politely questioned why he was turning us away without a diagnosis. Either of those moments gave him an opportunity to back down from whatever was going on, but he stood his ground anyway, and we were turned out without diagnosis or treatment.

I immediately found a hospital administrator and relayed the details of the story to her, so hopefully this will be resolved and no one else will suffer the same experience.

We still don’t know the cause of her painful swelling.

Went to Er for complaints of pain.
Was put in a room NO medical history taken
No temperature taken, a young girl in a rush tried to put a blood pressure cuff on my arm that had lymph nodes removed from breast ca but since no history was taken no one would know that - when I asked her to do it on the other arm she dragged it and the pulse reader over my body and left me like that. until another person came in and adjusted all the wires
I was given 2 oxytocin for pain which made me violently ill for this was given an oral nausea pill finally when threw that up then they gave me a needle.
a portable xray and some blood work was done
At NO TIME did I ever see a doctor
then I girl came in an announced they were backed up and needed the room so they were going to discharge me
Everyone was disengaged unfriendly seemingly disenchanted with their jobs.
the floor of the room was littered with needle caps vial tabs and alcohol rubs
this is one of two hospitals in the area the other being in murphy so it's scary to think if I ever need serious care this is the place I have to go

An absolute JOKE. They sent my grandfather home while he’s in excruciating pain, sobbing and moaning. If you care about your loved ones, take them ANYWHERE ELSE. These people should have their licenses taken away.

Excellent hospital ER. I was immensely helped by Drs. Albright and Duke as well as Nurse Kerri and all of the Staff. I am grateful for Kevin on the tech staff and for the radiologist who interpreted the results. Their medical decisions were excellent. I give God the glory for healing me after a trying time and it was good to learn from Dr. Duke that I was at the tail end of this thing.

Waited in the ER waiting room for 3 hours with our newborn who was vomiting. Couldn’t get any help and didn’t know what to do. Finally saw someone and they sent us home
