NEW PATIENTS BEWARE: Deceptive billing practices and price gouging!!
I was told at the end of my visit I was PAID IN FULL. THE EMPLOYEE EVEN WENT IN AND HAD SOME LOOK OVER MY BILL BRFORE SHE TOLDS US THAT NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO BILL US FOR MORE MONEY!!
THIS IS WHY THEY WILL NOT ITEMIZE YOUR BILL WHILE YOU ARE THERE!

I am a cash pay patient. I went to see Lisa Thatcher on 10/30/24 3pm. She was very good. I liked her.

They are pricy for a foot exam n xrays but I paid it my biggest issue was the foot brace I paid 85/90 dollars for after looking at it I peeled off a sticker that said Upperline health and went to Amazon I found the identical Ovation Medical hybrid nite splint for my achilles tendonitis for 32.00.

Now I get that the cost of the x rays n walk in the door price is high but with me being a cash pay uninsured person you would think they would have not GOUGED me on the price of nite splint.
Even though I liked Lisa Thatcher, DPM, I will be canceling my next appointment.
Also, you can't get an itemized receipt, which is also not good.
I also want to say when you call your nor talking to the office where your appointment is either.

UPDATE: UPPERLINE HEALTH when you call them service 400 hundred offices so you do NOT get to speak to the office that you are going to NO PERSONAL CARE here you are much better off going to one of Augustas foot doctors that are not PART OF CORPORATE HEALTH!!

This was my first visit. The check in was simple the front desk girl was very pleasant. There were alot of people but it moved very quickly. I had Dr Thatcher very down to earth and great sense of humor. I had a medical assist named Holly Thompson very friendly, enjoyed our conversation. Found out we attended the same training school. On my way out I met Connie so sweet very relaxed I felt like I've known her a while. She showed me the beautiful polish made by doctors. My next appointment was made quickly and I'm on my way. I enjoyed my visit.

Upper line health/ Augusta Foot And Ankle is the absolute best place to go to get your foot issues seen about. Dr Bennett is thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. His staff is fantastic and responsive. Also, the shortest wait times I’ve ever experienced at any doctors office.

I love Dr Payne and associates at Upperline Health. The staff is amazing, the service is phenomenal, after you check in you are immediately taken back. The care provided is genuine and professional, they really care about the health of your feet.

Dr. Stapp and his medical team provided me with excellent service this morning. I have been seeing Dr. Stapp for arthritis in my right toe. I decided to move forward with surgery back in September. Dr. Stapp is a wonderful doctor and his love for his profession is very evident and it shows in his hands on approach with his patients. Upperline has amazing staff like Jarvis who checked me in and Conni who provided me with assistance as I was leaving. I recommend this medical office to anyone who is in need of a podiatrist.

First time to a podiatrist and Dr. Payne bedside manner made me feel comfortable and was able to take care of my toe with an inpatient procedure that same day. He is respectful and caring. I would recommend anyone to go see him at the practice. Wish I would have gone years ago to remove my ingrown.

The doctors are good. However, the new Upperline Service is total garbage. Dont see why a simple call to the office has to get routed to a phone tree, 150 questions later and they cant even transfer you to the office. It's easier to just drive by the place and ask a question than to deal with Upperline

I've been going to Upperline Health for sometime now. I had an awesome experience today just as always at Upperline Health. Dr. Anna and his staff, Sharon and Alexis treat you like you are family. I would recommend him and staff to anyone needing his service.
